Weave me yet another day

Weave me, yet another day
So that I can knit those gaps
That I might sow those silent threads
And watch the sky elapse

Sow me that sudden sun
Show me that morning sky
That I might sing a mourning song
Of how we lived and how we died

Then exhale me out some sudden clouds
So that I might breathe them in
Exhale your love and kiss them out
‘till death becomes our shroud

And there in that tomb we lay
our bodies, side by side
And in this grave place we remain
Our bodies mortified

'Weave me, yet another day So that I can knit those gaps' Your poem starts so gently, beautifully.. but oh so quickly slides into sadness. I sighed - truly did, wishing that the tears had left the smiles to continue .. somehow.
