This is a quiet neighbourhood,
Where nothing very bad occurs,
Everyone does as s/he should,
As everyone of course prefers:
A lot of happy "hims"and "hers",
And many merry "Madams"and "Sirs".
Our neighbourhood is full of friends
Who gather for morning tea,
To chat about the latest trends
And shows that all must see,
While life continues trouble-free,
For "Love Thy Neighbour" is the key.
So needless to say we girls are hurt
Now Zelda has come to town,
Treating us all like so much dirt,
And constantly putting us down.
"She has to go", said Bessie Brown,
Wearing a most thoughtful frown.
So we all went after Zelda
And with our handbags felled her.
