Pick me! Pick me! Pretty girl pick me! When I met you I said there was a catch. When you held me. I said love was far-fetched. A broken soul crumbled to the touch Your sweetness glittered like gold,  Pure but devious. Pick me! Pick me! Pretty girl pick me! For you said you're different from the rest. You didn't stab me in the back. You held the blade directly to my chest. How could  I accept your apologies. Your words are sounds of blasphemy. Pick me! Pick me! Pretty girl pick me!   A million sorries cannot stop these tears from falling. I've passed hurt. I'm mentally paralyzed. Sorry used so often it's practically revised. I choose you.... and I can't undo Tears run down my cheeks cutting like knives. I'm not sure what hurts most the truth or lies. This is why I wear a barrier.  I trust no one, What is trust? The bullet or the gun?   10/04/16

Lovely poem about the pretty girl and the hurt and pain you felt within. I enjoyed reading each verse, asi it became intense and filled with lots of pain from within. I hope someday a true love will come your way.
