The River Cries

The River Cries

The river cries every night
with the ancient wind
the moon had gave out a dimmer light
of a sad cold night
with no love in sight
I'm coming home with no one to hold
My love go tired of me
and put the fair out
I could see his crying lying eyes
what we had ended years ago
in the rain and snow
of long ago
I don't like to run from my pains
but I did that day
that was no fun
Good morning where ever you are
I'm so sorry I had broken your heart
I know this was not the way it should be
the river turned cold another year
while the sky hold memories
in gloomy gray of you and me
I still can see the hurt in your lying eyes
when I told you goodbye
you thought you was hurting me
but really that could never be
I wanted to be free
when you started turning on me
we had loved once and it was sweet
when you was good to me
But now My heart morns
each and every day
So Goodnight
good day
I will come out and sing
I will dance for a new romance
I will pray for more better day
No more tears in my eyes
I'm glad we end.
