The Passing of My Dog Bear

Oh, it’s such a sad day, to day
My sweet dog Bear has passed away
It seems my soul has turned to grey
I’m so sad I’ve nothing to say

My bear was the sweetest of friends
And now all that stuff it does end
My sadness oh, when will it end
Oh, tell me will this ever mend

My Ruby is here looking sad
They did love each other like mad
Such a jolly friendship they had
I loved them both, they made me Glad

I really did love my old bear
Oh, Such a Grand friendship we’d share

G'day Peter … I sympathize with you Mate. We recently lost our Jack Russell after 16 years. I don't know how long it takes to get over the loss of a Mate - nice tribute Peter - Lindsay

It is no accident that Dog and God are spelled with the same letters. I know Bear is watching you now, and enjoying his "dog-bird" seat in heaven.
