sunglasses at night
he wears sunglasses at night
so the demons can't look out his eyes
and he wears his smile like burberry
a fashonista face for a crowd of discerning tastes
a screech coming from within
craving for more than just love
he wants to prove a point
that he can rise above
he wants to rule the night so the darkness that creeps
does not rule him in his sleep
but deep beneath the surface
lies his second skin
not so alabaster
as it it gleams under the full moon
lit like sparkling snowflakes
blue in the frosted light
a reflective ambience that can surround you
in his embrace
cold for most to touch
but i have found the warm spots
a thousand tiny lights individually cannot bring heat
but lit together form a warmth i have never known
he glows with the possibilities of a future unwritten
he is in flux
he ebbs and flows
like rivers
like currents
he is blue electric
