Samson the strong and mighty Nazarite.
Defending God's people was his appetite.
In the presence of his enemies, he would laugh.
He took a jawbone of a donkey, and slew a thousand in half.
He married a woman from a different tribe.
She was brutally murdered, and it killed his vibe.
He spent time with a woman named Delila, a hooker.
And Samson, he thought, Hey, what a looker.
In the end she would only grieve him.
In the end she would only deceive him.
Day after day, she asked him what made him so strong.
He finally told her, which was very wrong.
With a huff and a puff, he said woman enough.
There has never been a razor to come upon my head.
If my hair is cut my strength is dead.
While he was sleeping, she took a razor.
And shaved off his hair fast as a laser.
He had awoken and God's strength had left him.
All because he had gotten a trim.
He was captured by the Philistines.
The enemies of the Jewish people, they're corrupt and really mean.
They bound Samson to the pillars of a wall, and gouged out his eyes.
God made his hair grow back, and they were in for a surprise.
As Samson swerved back and forth, the pillars began to fall.
There were no survivors, none, none at all.
As it is written, and so they say,
Samson killed more Philistines than he ever did before, on that very day.
