RESPICE FINEM MYSTICISM
Then comes this moment; you open your eyes
and realise you were dreaming
every time I shut the door on reality,
it comes in through the window:
‘Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero;
Gigni de nihilo nihilum in nihilum nil posse veverti.’
My heart fills with thirst,
that which cannot be quenched by water nor strong liquor
but bibendum elixir portion
What fate ordains must surely come to pass
in a landscape full of dark beauty and presentiment
my heart lies with inevitable prospects of life,
from a blurred vision in the dark.
Nosce teipsum, omnem crede diem tibi diluxisse supremum!
