I was born a tree
Lived until forty three
For three months I was a tissue
With that I had some issues
After that I was paper for art
Thrown away and I fell apart
Back into the earth
Then on this last birth
I'm back to being me
Again I am a tree

Dear Tanis, great poem of the lifecycle of nature. Everything old is new again, hopefully. Enjoyed very much! Betty

This summarizes such a long process of destruction, exploitation and reparation, all so nicely in few words! Well done. :)
