Rain and A Rainbow

I looked from my window into a open space A tree stood lonely and swayed with mighty grace
In the sky the clouds were gathering dark with silver lining
Circling round and moving like a sheep farm shearing
From a roaring sound of thunder and a flash of lighting
Rain drops softly fell like crowns for little elves
Forming streams where tadpoles will dwell
When everything was silent a light lit up the sky
A rainbow bridged the open space
and disappeared after a while
Children ran out laughing in the puddles to play
Paper boats their fantasy on such a lovely day
