My Dog Bear

My dog Bear
He’s gone away
It was not a very good day
He did die
How I did cry
My boy bear went on his way
I loved that dog so very much
How he was so loyal
He looked sweet and oh so royal
But now in grave he lies

He was sweet
How he loved me
Bear, he loved me tenderly
Such sweet face
He had much grace
I did love his dark brown eyes
Oh why, oh why did my Bear die
Oh, how he was so great
Bear he was my very good mate
He’s left tears in my eyes

It is always a pity to lose someone who is dear to us. Great rhyme and syllable scheme.
