Lucys not home

Do you still love me? “Don’t answer that” Do you still see me? “Don’t answer that” Does my skirt look ok today? “Don’t answer that” Am I in summertime? “Don’t answer that” Is it my birthday? “Don’t answer that” Is this truly just a game? “Don’t answer that” My Lucy’s gone now She is not there I answer not For she don’t care World of her own Some joy in that Despair I feel Engulfed I’m not Do you still love me? “Don’t answer that” Are you my friend? “Don’t answer that” When, will I go home? “Don’t answer that” My Lucy’s gone now I bend my neck I walk the streets Oh what the heck The turn of the key Oh yes I’m home I make the tea Kettle drone, Kettle drone
