IMPERSONATIONS

Men emulating modesty and sincerity
They might assume security
Most likely improbability.

Women mimicking propriety
They lack simplicity
Yet filled with immorality.

Clerics pretend to be holy,
Feeling untouched and wholly
Their victims were lowly!

Politicians dressed as sheep
With corruption that heap
While voters weep.

Children imitating adults
They swear and give insults
Lacking true results.

I assume I’m a writer
Not thinking I’m brighter
But I’m a fighter.
