I Shall Show You Not Only Yours, But Also Mine
or
Speaking Metaphorically
"Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live."
--Exodus 22:18, King James Version
"Particularly when she comes knocking at your door on Halloween."
--one possible interpretation by an Extremist
"Thou shalt not kill."
--Exodus 20:13, King James Version
"Ooops . . ."
--the same Extremist repentant
"Like most teenagers who graduate, "God" may indeed have become all-
knowing; nevertheless, like most all-knowing teenagers, "He" undoubtedly is
a rotten conversationalist--and seldom listens, moreover, when you beg for
mercy."
--a former high-school graduate
"In a childhood emergency, it is best to immediately call 911 rather than first
praying to 'God'."
--a Rational maximist without children, thank "God"!
Your loving "god" buys oh, so many shoes!
Eats meat as well as chocolate--and cheese!
Still on occasion tipsy gets on booze!
And pretty things still wears to tease--or please!
"He" gambles yet on lotteries at times!
Or "Bingo!" cries within a solemn church!
Reads horror tales or thrilling books on crimes!
Or glossy magazines that people smirch!
Commands "He" all to multiply like beasts!
To toss away the rubbers and the pill!
To ever breed new mouths for Christian feasts!
To every Christmas season stockings fill!
Why, one of us I fear need straight repent!
My rational "god" on binging not hell-bent!
Dedicated with Respect for the Terrified Children who are Programmed to Believe in a Vengeful "God" who "Created" a "Hell"
