Hey Chantelle. I found this to be very elegantly poetic and a good rhythm ... thanks for your participation in the contest! I am curious what your thoughts on "half human, half death" was alluding too ... it left me a bit curious.

Hello Timothy! Thank you for your kind commentary and placement in the contest! I am honored and thrilled! The "half human half death" is based on my personal experience of losing both my parents. My mother to cancer and my father to suicide. Everyday their passing affects me. I miss them very much. I'm grateful I can express my feelings in poetry! Thank you for asking! Best to you!
