Burn Down My Castle

It's a lovely power
Living in this castle.
But for my Love,
Through sun or rain,
It shall burn.
I’ll save you from the pain.

This pain,
Memory of power,
I shall let it burn
As I did my castle.
I’ll endure the rain
For you, my Love.

But, tell me, my Love,
Do you feel my pain?
Sitting in the rain,
Do you wish for power?
Had I built you a castle
Would you still have let mine burn?

I burn
In the flames of love
That burnt down my castle.
All this pain,
Was it worth the power?
Letting me drown in the rain?

Soaked by the rain,
Watching my world burn,
Is this power
To you, my Love?
Do you enjoy others’ pain?
Is that why you had me burn my castle?

Curse this glass castle!
Ashes washed away by rain.
Still I endure the pain.
Standing in the fire, I burn
For you, my Love.
You have that power.

Do I regret building this castle in the ashes you burn?
So long as you're here, in the rain with me, my Love
I’ll enjoy the pain, grant you your desired power.
