Airlocked

I don’t adhere to slogans I don’t identify with groups I don’t have faith in opinions I only trust in The Truth To be in airlock Self-contained Sometimes is a trying strain When pressure of contamination Is weighing down on you I don’t derive my self-esteem From the crowd, the mob, or the herd No iconography or ideology Those aren’t my “I”-words Independence and intuition Should only bow to inner sense With the undertow of forces, One must know to sound the depths To be in airlock Self-contained Sometimes is a trying strain When chaos and conformity Are flowing around you
