roads each year. The number of cats killed on the roads in the united states is
much higher at an approximation of 5.4 million."

my being small i had a toy named jet
a coat of black abandoned eyes of brown
devoted yet a tail to every pet
and still a smile obliging upside down
i met around a pound and dump in town
near puppy shops and mills along a sea
in which a bestie's toy would eager drown
though buddy crying got a teacup free
the morning jetson chased a bumblebee
a mourning he and i remembered well
when after leaping with a cherokee
the leash from off a deck had hanged a spell
till lunch on growing up at last for good
a teacup shattered underneath the hood
