A CALL TO JUSTICE

Anger, hatred, war, deceit, and cruelty’ Have since seized the earth by the jaws Turning it into a battlefield Taking away all the love, peace and happiness That once was a trademark of our mother earth What remains are the tears, sorrow and pain, The new inhabitants of our atmosphere and conscience But why? What happened to our once beloved earth? The wonderful milk and honey Has long been displaced by blood and bone Blood of innocent women and children, Bones of the elderly and aged, caught unawares relaxing under an old Muhacha tree the world has a great future; a future of doom a future fast creeping if we take zero action. the world has become a factory of evil a modernized high-tech industry of wickedness killing the dreams and hopes of many young souls daily news headlines of corruption, murder, war, immorality doubling and tripling with each dawn But why? What happened to our once beloved earth? I call to love, peace and unity, Singing and shouting, dancing and celebrating Because of a people reunited once more, A society with a restored conscience One that calls them to justice, I call humanity to justice, lets do mother earth justice, Let’s do our families and communities justice.
