Oh, What A Night

Oh, What A Night

Oh, what a night
Something bites my dog on the foot
And she cried and she cried
All night long
She just would not stop
Her crying eyes
We did first aid on her
Well, that did not seem to help much
Then we tried to figure out what bit her in the first place
Maybe a red ant,
Maybe one of the bugs we have here in Nevada
Maybe one of those nasty scorpion that come out in the summer time
I know it was not a rat
I got rid of him running around my back yard,
Stealing the pidgins food
How dare him?
Well, now he lost his life
No, don't know what it was
Perhaps I will never find out
All I know she look bright eyes this morning since her star storm passed
And I hope that goes for the two of us
Since we were also suffering all nigh.

the trick is to get an idea for a poem and then it just uravelees from there at least that is the way it works for me and that is why people like to enter the contest they like an idea given to them on a plate but it will never be as creative as coming up with one yourself, sometimes it happens while im driving and i go AAAAAAAA!!! i have to pull over and i type it out on my memo pad on my phone and bam when i get home i send it to my email then to my gineg spell ap and walla a poem
