when is it too much? - Jerri Ward's Blog

i have heard quite a few people lately talking about the amount of time that they spend on the soup. wondering  if they are addicted to the soup.  how to juggle their time.  their passion for writing and others who write as well.  also their knowledge and true interest in poets. i don't spend as much visible time as most people do on the soup, but i spend time in the backgroud reading poems.  i could read forever and never run out of great poetry to read.  i know i have spent to much time on the soup when eveyrthing that i say has to rhyme slime, you know what i mean jean. it goes on forever, snever and a day, hay.  so whatcha gonna do lou.  i guess we'll go, snow.  see ya later, gator. oh, btw, the poem that i did, too soon, that i wrote in memory of a friend for her mother who is my friend also, I put a picture with it.  I took a picture of it as best i could.

Carolyn Devonshire Date: 7/16/2010 5:01:00 PM I hear ye clearly, Jerri. Sometimes it helps to take a break from the Soup now and then. When I leave for vacation July 20, I'll be enjoying time with family and friends and may only stop by occasionally. Some folks appear to spend their entire vacations tied to a laptop. I am a fast paced person so I can accomplish a lot in little amounts of time ... depending on what is going on ..like contests ..or commenting..or blogging.. since I got my internet cell phone I have access constantly .. if I need to.. even on vacation I was Souping and it was fun.. its different for each poet.. for me its fun and have tried to contain my time ...but it hardly ever works Jerri... enjoy.. with luv.. Andrea Dietrich Date: 7/16/2010 7:44:00 AM hahaha I just love your answers, Constance!! Ok Jerri, this is funny that you feel like you need to start rhyming. I wish i had that "indicator" to help me know when to get off. As a natural rhymer, however, reading lots of rhyme does not affect me. My newest poetry post discusses my "addiction" but like Constance says here, who cares in the end? It's fun. We all love to write, we love to comment to friends. My dilema, however, is that I have so many other interests and sometimes they get put to the side. But today I will get off here before noon and head out to a movie.
