One Fine Day

One Fine Day

It was one fine day when they all came out
to gather round at the Hawk’s Nest Park.
Folks came from far and wide,
young and old to see the sight.
Jim said John did you ever see anything
like this in all eternity.
People came and they went that day,
they kept on coming just to see the sight.
What did they see at Hawk’s Nest Park,
people everywhere searching
like most people in life
for something they didn’t know what,
but on one fine day it didn’t matter
because everyone was just happy to be together.
