The Eyes of a Child
Through the eyes of a child,
there’s no need to hurry.
What’s all the bustle and scurry,
can I go out and play.
It’s such a beautiful day.
everything is always so much fun.
They say their friends all have one,
so please can I get one too.
I like it when you hold me close to you.
Worries never cross their mind.
they always leave the past behind.
If you’re their friend, then you are blest,
Because a child loves their friends the best.
Through the eyes of a child.
