It's A New Day!

It's a new day! The sun is shining and I have so much to be thankful for. I know that I have thanked some of you for the kind comments and words that you written about my writing, but I haven't yet gotten a chance to thank everyone, so I wanted to do that now. I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity here at the soup. I just showed up one day, a stranger from cyberworld and you took me in as if I had been here forever. I can't begin to tell you how much that touched me and how much it means to me. As I said in my bio, I am not a Poet, I just take pleasure in putting my thoughts and words onto paper and sharing them in hopes that perchance someone will be touched by them as they have touched me. I don't know all of the technicalities of poetry just yet, I just know what is in my heart, so if I post something and it is not in the proper context, please feel free to let me know, because I am still learning and definitely open to learning more. I hope you all have a beautiful day doing whatever you enjoy most! Jerri
