Life Is Worthwhile To Live

Whenever I see clouds
I remember it will rain
The need to bring umbrella
When the sun is out
I see the wind is coming
The leaves of trees are waving
I felt my skin is getting cold
Nature refuse to change reeling
I better hurry up my walking
Too many times my instinct is naive
In the mall I rest all my worries behind
Safe now I guess I'm glad a relief
Life sometimes has clever answer
On humdrum wary things aside
God gives us challenges to make
For life is worthwhile to live.

Worthwhile Outcome

Creative, great work
But so tough on every hands
Worthwhile with outcome.

Premium Member The Magic of Worthwhile

Writers write to master the minds
like mine to master, be thines,
5th century Greek writers Patriarch
Herodotus, Thucydides and Plutarch.

They savor the flavor, 'Land Battles', be
Persia and Greece, intro 5th century.

Persian priests', called it magosh, then,
Greeks termed the word magoi when
it changed to mageia and then magika,
hence, precedes that illusion, magical.

The battle itself was a point of focus,
but in reality, 'twas an uprising tempest,
all that matters merely meant confusion,
purpose the word, magic, sort of illusion.

At the start, a keen preceptor will take,
while the rest, smoke and mirror, mistake
goal to amuse, jam and jelly seize a fainted
a riddle connects the dots, numbers painted
a true picture of the taken as the takers smile
'MAGIC', those who knew & misknew, worthwhile.

Premium Member It's Worth It

It is always those things
That we can’t touch – the stars,
The moon, the clouds in June,
The sun, the rainbow after the storm,
The thunder and the trembling voice
Beneath the heartfelt sentiment

It is always those things
That we can’t know – the heart
Who lives behind the smile,
The whisper of faith in a child,
The joy in the sunrise, the snowflake,
The gentle in the spirit who colors
Life in hues of resilience…

It is always those things
That we can’t see – the feeling
Bleeding through endless sensitivity,
The breathless hope, the mystery
Feeding off the laughing winds and seas,
The yearning of a heart who knows…

It is always those things
That make life beautiful, believable
That erase the doubts and darkness
With faith and enlightenment…
It is always those things that make life
Feel like it is worthwhile, worthy of the smile
Who beams beneath the shroud covering up
Those things that make it all worthwhile!

Just Listen My Friend

JUST LISTEN MY FRIEND
When you are in darkness,
With gloom and dismay,
You feel what's worthwhile
Is slipping away.

You wonder if life
Is worth living at all.
Your mind is in turmoil,
And you're apt to fall.

If you listen closely
Someone is calling
He whispers gently
“I can keep you from falling.”

“Don't go any further,
But take a deep breath,
Call on to to Me,
And I'll do the rest.”

“Your troubles are over,
If you'll come unto me,
For I understand them,
And will set you free.”

I know His sweet voice,
His words are all true
And if you will but listen
He has much to give you.

Your life will be better
I promise my friend
For this loving Person
Has blessings to send

If you will yet trust Him
He always will stay
All of your darkness
Will then go away

That Makes It Worthwhile

There is a great king,
who wears a thorn crown.
That among the believers,
his name is renowned!

His presence is huge,
all turn with big eyes.
There is a feeling growing,
a new day will rise.

On the edge of time,
waits the final call.
When the good of man rises,
and evil shall fall.

The magic of love,
starts with a smile.
That always makes everything,
in life worthwhile!

A Precious Gem

A PRECIOUS GEM
Sympathy for others
Is a trait we all shall need.
Showing kindness and compassion,
Will sow much gospel seed.
Those who have not cultivated
This worthwhile loving goal,
Will never find the pleasure
Of fulfilling life's true role.
If we really know our Savior,
And learn to think like Him.
Then this grandest of ambitions
Will seem a precious gem.
For when we follow Jesus,
We find the secret of our living
Is found, in reality,
In a constant life of giving.

Premium Member Writing Something Worthwhile

I hope, my friend, I’m writing something worthwhile
If only one phrase, a line, a word worthy of your file
Something that will make you say, “Just my style,”
And put on your face, for a few moments, a smile,
Hopefully, I won’t write anything you think juvenile
Or, God forbid, any verse or two that seems hostile,
For then, I suspect, you might send me into exile
Or toss my feeble attempts to write poems into a pile
With a terse note on the top that labels them vile,
In any eventuality, I shall continue efforts to compile
For sitting and writing, I think, beats walking a mile!

Premium Member A Worthwhile Journey

I was so busy loving you that I got
lost along the way.
I fell so head over heels for you that
I neglected me.
I no longer catered to my own needs
now I don't know who I am.
When I look into the mirror, foreign
eyes are staring back at me.
I've been fighting with all I can to
find me but I don't know where to
begin.
My journey of self-discovery may be
challenging and scary,
But it's a journey that I must take no
matter what.

Premium Member He Was a Worthwhile Friend

He was a worthwhile opponent; our debates were insane.
But he did not have enough sense to come out of the rain.
Wait a second; I stayed out there, laughing about it too.
We were honorary brother and sister, that’s nothing new.

He was clever and funny and laughed like a well-oiled machine.
He rarely agreed with me, yet he never was horrible or mean.
We had such a fine relationship, we were friends to the end.
Unfortunately, that was yesterday; now I say goodbye to my friend.

Sure I can
I know I could.
But do I want to?
That is the only question worth answering.

Premium Member The Journey's Hard But Worthwhile

Here we are on the journey of life
which God has planned out for us to do
in all His instructions that He's given us
never once is easy mentioned not as a clue

This journey is the road Jesus walked
which is the road we've been called to go
no easy path this has many bumps to face
it's no fast dash, keep plodding ever so slow

There's a cross to carry every day
through many bends on the way
no matter how long this journey takes
be faithful and no matter what, stay

One day we'll reach journeys end
then we'll see it was all worthwhile
glorious majestic wonderful will describe
heaven's glory will be worth every mile

Brexit Sonnet 43 - I Am the One That Makes Your Fight Worthwhile

Brexit Sonnet No. 43
‘I am the one that makes your fight worthwhile’

Do not abuse or despise my favoured cause;
For I am that one that makes your fight worthwhile.
I will not give up, I will not fold nor pause,
Nor cheer as we proceed down Devil’s aisle.
Without me, a hollow toll your victory rings;
For I am the one that makes your fight worthwhile.
I will not resign, believe in naive things,
Nor cheer as nation chokes on bitter bile.
No bags pack I, no plane nor ship to board;
For I am the one that makes your fight worthwhile.
I will not go quietly into that night O Lord,
Nor let go of that, that Brexit doth defile.
So oppose I will, with all my might and main,
Sense and wits may leave but I… Remain.

Light streams flood here
A glimpse of cheer

A touch now shows
In certain flow

Grace paints kind face
In time and space

Sight flavours ease
In poise of peace

Mellow words rhyme
As echoes chime

Work worthwhile feel
As love reveals

Words in sure queue
Clear motive cues

Rhymes in crisp flow
Tell beyond flow
