A WINDY SUMMER DAY
Planes sailing the sky…
Waving trees shadow the sun…
Kid’s paper plane day…

It is late September again.
Under a warming sun, your hand holds my hand.
Now the horizon sits – a silent spectator.
When gently huffs the wind,
twilight cascades upon my skin.
We lay in misty vapor from
dusk’s bursting promise
as ink paints a panorama of primrose.
As luminous streams of stars
paint my poetic sky,
stirring my moon-swept soul,
soft fire is his eyes.
I glow through starlight,
embracing our marrow’s warmth.
Let the strongest of winds come -
our hand hold will never end.

windy breezy day
green tree leaves move like pompoms
snakes hide in the ground

It's too cold for angels to fly up here,
It's too windy to raise a fire.
Explosion?
I don't know her.
And she doesn't care who or what she destroyed.
Life is just like a shard of frozen gold,
Coveted most when it cracks and ends.
Pardon me for being so bold,
But in the end even beauty here stinks.

The sun does beam
Over many a quick stream
That run into valleys flourishing with floral
Where the wind howls with seemingly no morals
It lashes out it's rage against swaying, tall trees
High doe they stand, and far doe they see
Rain falls light
Unless cursed with the winds' might
But on hot, Summers' eves
Does the wind blow little but leaves
Cooling and soothing
Still ever moving
Far is it's reach
From hill top to sandy beach
Carrying birds to and frow
Ever discouraging the hunters' bow
It is a thing of love, and a thing of hate
In any matter it is a thing of great debate
The air it fills
But never as greatly as the valleys' windy hills

Wind grieves, singing her song to the twilight
Breathing stories of a distant sun,
Pulsating poetry in rhythms of blue blessings,
Touching the night the way hope sighs
Erasing the silence and coloring the still
With a whisper, misty eyed and effervescent.

Laying in the cool breeze
Drying the sweat on my face
Chilling my skin feeling refreshed
The light touch of God
The unknown rhythm of the wind
Memories of people and places
Flag waving back and forth
Remembering what it means to me
Hair moving with the breeze
Helping to loll me to sleep
Carrying happy dreams
Into the Universe

It is snowing out
The wind is blowing
Spreading on the ground
The wind is blowing
While the snow zigs zags
The wind is still blowing
With the snow fallen
Falling to the ground
In a deep[ pile
Spreading evenly
All the trees boughs white
No longer bare and cold
They are dre3ssed up warm
With the cover of snow
Like a white blanket

3 PM, cold, windy, snow coming
I wonder about love
And loving
Is there a difference
Some incalculable measure
Can you love someone
Without loving them

Blackened tendrils take the trees,
Take the skin by follicle,
Empty matter, pushed debris,
Pressed and parabolical.
Zephyrus claims, lack of choice,
Echoes through the aether,
Chaos calms his quiet voice,
To suffer with the weather.
Windows shutter, clap in tune,
Aeolus purring bag and pipe,
Uilleann iron, aural rune,
Despite aptitude and gripe.
Nonetheless the Iris slims,
To folded air in lack of light,
Cluttered ever in the whims,
To that which chances sight.

It’s a cold, wet, windy night tonight, a cold wet windy night. The Crow’s calls I hear moving through the black of night but with sight I see no Crow.
It’s a mean and menacing night tonight and I hear the groans of trees say it so. Rain beats down so very hard tonight as it competes with the winds and cold.
Glistening stone sits in the cold tonight beaten by wind and rain together and on their own. Dark sheen with shadows moving quickly out of sight as clouds pass by streetlight and the Moon.
It’s a cold, wet, windy night tonight and I’m glad to be at home. Driving tightly must be the way tonight as nature makes danger of and on the roads.
It’s a cold, wet, windy night tonight a night of rain, wind and cold. As I close my eyes to sleep tonight I know that the wind and rain can’t make me cold.

Writing poetry on my bed.
Where there is nothing.
Only the sound of the microwave.
I write about the wind, flowers, and smiles.
Headphones in, so music stays in my head.
I was in a hospital once.
Trembling.
My computer has a glitch,
I can feel the wind restlessly pulling.
When they open the door to let us outside into the fenced in yard.
I can feel that.
Writing poetry on a strange bed.
There was nothing except-
The medicine counter, who would call me.
The doctor, who would call me.
I was in a hospital once…once- I was…
For a glitch in my head- it was windy that day…strange that way, that bed.
My mom hates when I write.
She says to go to bed.
The wind will be back tomorrow.

A silent storm rages on in my head
winds whisking into a symbolic swirl.
Though all alone, I lie here in my bed
spinning wound up words twisted till they twirl.
Peel off outer layers, see deep inside
emotive notions, stringy streaks in strips.
Peer into that space where one cannot hide -
stealth secrets shredded into bits of blips.
Joyfulness whistles by too quick to snatch
pondering the trip to the Pearly Gate.
Calmness lies so still, way too low to catch
crawling, creaking under this heavy weight.
These tortured torrents that may make me miss -
once settled down they turn to inner bliss.
