Window Of Opportunity Poems | Examples

One Small Step, One Giant Leap

With those who
want to test the waters,
and yet have no wish
to get their feet wet,
but wait to have their cake
(and eat it too)
handed to them on a plate,
I will neither split hairs
and pick nits
nor reason or debate
(or tear their thoughts to bits)
so,
if they're going to 'fly',
(jump to a conclusion)
either do it or don't,
as Yoda said, 'There is no try,'
I may not agree,
but it's not up to me,
and can only advise,
should they desire
to self-defenestrate ASAP,
'Take the first window of opportunity.'

The deletion of one's post will then have a direct impact on one's totality of posts being reduced by that action, in equal numbers,

where the relevancy will be the act of adding a post to one's totality of their posts being increased by that action, in equal number.

The consequences of those plus or minus acts should directly impact one's posts encountering a stipulation.

Albeit, the modus operandi forestalls, at which point the deletion of two posts almost immediate to each other, and in pursuit, similarly its totality reduced, with the recommended window for numbered of privileged posts--

--Should have ascertained relief of two deletions upon its immediacy, an act for an act, and be accorded the window of opportunity times two within the same time frame:

~~ Explanations needless warranty of a suspenseful guesstimate.

Such is the case of the righteous in mind,
faithful to the cause that is enacted by the motives that has been established
an aura of decency and respect that's deserving of a heart free of stress and pain
bearing the secured knowledge that their future and that of their loved ones
will be fundamentally theirs
by those chosen to see towards the fluidty
and symmetry of the operations
according to their books edicts-

-and never their own,

beyond which has been ascertained as the Gospel Truth
to abide via the company
and/or affliation,
whatever the case may individually be.

Resolution

RESOLUTION

If life goes rancid with sour taste
The time for action was long ago
A missed window of opportunity
One may challenge with impunity
But such purpose is all for show
And protestation is such a waste

With a case for early intervention
Resolve and clear focus is needed
Addressing issues when first seen
And working out what they mean
All faults to be readily conceded
Reciprocity is worthy of mention

Some difficulties are irreconcilable
They are however, in the minority
Either party can leave with regret
But not when parting isn’t due yet
There can be no assumed authority
Memories cannot be contemptible

But an argument for give and take
Supports the idea of a neutral zone
Where the elements of normal life
Can displace all unnecessary strife
Communicating in a balanced tone
Should leave arguments in its wake

The window of opportunity
is a delicate passageway.
It is sensitive and volatile.
Enter it without hesitation.
It's often a one-track way.
She might never return.

behold the window of opportunity
youth is when you make your dreams come true
time never to be squandered

there's an expiry date on dreams
do not miss out
find a way to make all dreams count

Windows

Man’s the window to world without, within,
Wider be it, exciting gets the scene.

The trouble is: window gets too narrow,
He neither keeps it clean, nor any bright.

Trouble is: man’s not tolerant enough
Of those that see from a different window.

Trouble is: trying to bang down locked doors,
He misses out widely open windows.

That, madly in love of same old windows,
He forgets to forge new to see new world.

Trouble is he forgets: an open mind
Be like a window that lets in fresh air,

And that the windows are not kept open,
And like windows, his mind too remains closed.

And there’s always a new world waiting out,
But then, his window’s shut and so is mind.

When a window of opportunity
Appears, the window shades oft are down.

The trouble is: vast be the outside scene,
Windows far few, tight shut, or shutters down!

And man’s marooned with just today’s story,
An epic’s waiting when to get unfold.

or some kind of conduit
or some kind of hubble-bubble
perhaps a shower hose

my daughter has learnt to say 'door'
she enjoys knocking her head on them
she dances to anything

i woke up wrapped in the mosquito net
or maybe wrapped in the pipe where
schubert's songs came from

i yanked the window off the wall
haven't replaced nor fixed it yet
looking for a window of opportunity

The World Waits

As a race, we are one, yet scattered.
Thrown to the wind, like our ashes.
The soul is a stranger to the physical.
Still, the pact with the flesh remains.
After centuries of walking in shoes.
To the desolation of human desires.
That has been dangled on a stick.
The Sadhus look toward the skies.
Certain of the event they wait for.
As the night brings round the day.
Comes the window of opportunity.
For like the dawn, we too are reborn.
In a world, where greatness is waiting!

You Sadly Drown In Sorrow

You sadly drown in sorrow
Because, you have been led astray
Following bad company was not a good idea
You have drifted away
Window of opportunity will close
There will be nothing for you to gain
Nothing but a melancholy scenery
Along with thunder, lightning, and rain

Door To Sweet Success

D-oor to sweet success
I-s open for you to take;
V-ictorious journey in life
I-s not free of heartache.
N-either door to sweet success nor window of opportunity closes;
A-iming to randomly give the much needed chances.

L-et the door to sweet success
A-llow you to taste the win;
B-e determined and hopeful,
I-nside deep within.
A-llow September twenty-sixth to shine,
G-reet the morn with gladness;
A-s you begin to enter into the door to sweet success.

Closed Blinds

The window of opportunity; once seemingly limitless
Now appears to be gloomy and hopeless
The aspirations and dreams disguised as the truth..
Are these just lies that reside in his own mind?
No proof, no action..just an attempt to appease and distract him

The window of time; once an absolute eternity
Is now running out in quite a hurry
Pursuing dreams is similar to that of running on a treadmill;
At the highest speed; there will not be enough endurance to actually achieve
Yet, if too slow; no chance for progression, no chance to grow
However; with a perfect balance of: talent, aggression, and humility..
Add a bit of: water, composure, and consistency
And, of course, a sprinkle of belief..and there is the recipe to succeed

The window behind; once hardly noticeable..
Evidently someone or something opened the blinds
..perhaps it was just time
For the window behind; once hardly visible..
Now gives reason to be rejoiceful; for it seems to be the single window in which one is actually ahead of ones dreams

Before It's All Too Late

How many times
Have you ever been in a state
Where you almost surrender
Saying, 'It's all too late'.

How many times
Have you ever thought:
'I may be in a nice situation
If only I did the way to be it ought'?

How many times
Do you ever have to say:
'If I could only turn back the clock,
The past or yesterday'?

More often than not,
One blames self for the sorry loss;
Or sometimes even pointing
At others for chances lost.

Good maybe if we always have
The window of opportunity;
Bringing back the wasted time
To correct our paucity.

But sadly, just once can we see
That shot at the prize of life's game;
Granting to have a second chance,
Still, things will never be the same.

Life is too short,
Abound in love, hope; and faith;
Stay away from all forms of evil,
Before it's all too late.
