I so terribly miss you!
You were my rock, my inspiration
No other can touch your magical sensation
After all our wonderful years

The 'Rebbitzin' is the wife
of the Rabbi,
the heart and soul of the
Jewish family
-as you'll see
He studies his books
I scrub all the nooks
He adjudicates laws
I cook and clean without pause
He recites prayers, brings down God’s light
Me? --I do laundry well into the night
As for our nine children, who puts them in bed?
Again me, after which betimes I think I am dead
Now, I’m not complaining
For this life I was training
And the Rabbi’s a wonderful fella…
But who am I? ~ Cinderella?
In all of my years, JoAnn was the most THOUGHTFUL soul I ever met!
That's one of the reasons I was the luckiest a man could possibly get!
You name it and she knew exactly what she needed to do!
Before she acted she thought everything through!
She wouldn't offend a living being; humans, animals, avians and more!
That was one of her many wonderful traits I still adore!
To know, know, know her is to love, love, love her are words from an old song
So I knew instantly that it was with her that I belong!
Have you lost an EVERLASTING love like me?
Did you assume your love would last to eternity?
Well my answer is an emphatic yes to both questions!
And I’ve fielded so many suggestions
But it’s sheer folly to think that wonderful memories could fade
I was a foolish idiot to think my life was eternally made!
The love of my life was gone in a flash
But I keep having wonderful dreams and memories to rehash
I was a very lucky man to win her hand
That’s why her faintest little wish was always my EVERLASTING pleasure to command!
One of the finest hours I can recall
Came at a momentous time in my life,
When I stood before the altar, so tall,
Took Deborah Anne Going for my wife
Because, before, my life was full of strife
I was floundering along, life quite dull
In my early forties, a dismal lull,
I wondered what life for me portended.
Everyone of my friends’ lives seemed so full
Deb came along, my life became splendid.

It's a lonely life
staring at a blank page
Without my wonderful wife
I fear I'd disengage
It would be a thankless task
to write without a supportive group

This bird has pizazz, perkiness, and he is popular.
I rolled my eyes inside my head, for she owes me money.
Seriously, she said, I felt you rolling your eyes, but he is magnificent.
What is his talent? I demanded. Singing? Dancing? Telling jokes?
Not sure he has one, but all the women love him! She assured me.
I met him on a Tuesday. He was jazzy, and wonderful.
I liked him instantly. Brought him home, and kicked my boyfriend out.
What did I ever do? Motormouth boyfriend screamed from outside.
I put on music and began to dance, determined to keep the bird forever.
I have not heard you sound this happy for a long time, my mother said.
What is different?
I have a new bird, I told her. He is porcelain, and he does not talk.
Wakes before the fourth hour
Straight into the shower
Gets dressed in a wink
Downstairs in a blink
Quick cup of coffee
A glance at the news
Washes all the dishes
Plans the day's menus
Prepares all the food
Fresh, tasty, so good
Works from home for an hour
Revs up the brainpower
Drives to the train
Sun, snow, or rain
At work by 8:30 a.m.
Back to the grind again
She does it all every day
With a smile on her face

Removes the rat from the race

My wife has been my rock it may look like she's leaning on me but I'm leaning on her,
She is a wonderful and unselfish woman,
She is always there when I need.

She is always been there when I've been down and out.
