Sophistry

"time has its expired date" what a very silly thought write, sophistry!

Willem Dafoe

William 'Willem' Dafoe
Can hopefully craft a Minecraft hoe
You might as well should call him 'Billy'
The way his humorous stances are oh so very silly.

Premium Member Logic

No, dear reader, this is not an April Fool's prank piece. It's merely a bit of nonsense for this very silly day...

Alice asked Tweedledee,
"What is logic?"
Tweedle thought for a moment then said,
"Though I never before have considered the question,
Here's how it rolls 'round in my head"
A thing that is so just might well be,
If that isn't too abstrusely quaint,
But I really don't see
How a thing that can't be
Can be anything other than ain't".

Duck Billy

There is a duck in the park
Called Billy
He is very, very silly
He bobs about and quacks
And Laughs
Then floats upside down
Completely daft.

A Score and a Six

Which is better or bitter without been in cool paints?
What will remembrance be like if there is no alphabets?
To memorise all thoughts would be very silly of sages
Or something else like the divinely blessed earth revelatory saints
What more would be the perfect ever glowing safe diskettes?
Enclosed tightly in a well framed document of many pages

Power to the deaf and relief to all who stammer
Its awesomeness has learned students unique ability to create writes
Of different kinds figured historical building the classes
Which keeps redirecting and reshaping human as it continuously hammer
On all ears the need to respect one another's rights
Its effects remain despite how soon each new generation passes

Thanks to the awesome 18 consonants that romance the vowels
What more diamonds are; digged deep all out from heart
Absorbing all the beautiful thoughts of minds like dry towels
And restructure its uniqueness into a pleasant and lovely art

Premium Member Cat Observations

Trust is so much a part
of every relationship –
I mean, I love my cat,
but he has this disconcerting
way of sleeping with one
eye open, as if checking out
the terrain, listening for
incoming -- well, he's
either a very silly, typical
paranoid cat...or they
know the human soul
a lot better than we admit
to.

Cats seem to have two basic
instincts: start and run – while
mankind has 3: more, more, and
more....

I was going to cut the grass today;
then thought, as with dust, grass can
wait till tomorrow – unlike laundry and
cat litter that seem to ferment awfully –
therefore, some must-do chores were
gotten too...while executing the
routine tasks I wondered, why do
I hang-on so? A little kitty meowed.

Boys Toys

Right now the best heroes are the Paw Patrol.
Getting all their best toys is our biggest goal.
Rubble, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Zuma & Sky.
Are the pups making Mr. Deansy a happy guy.

But don’t forget about the PJ Masks kids.
Wearing red, green and blue animal lids.
We’ve got Cat Boy, Gecko and Owlette.
Put the crew together and they’re all set.
At night the team is stopping lots of crime.
So boys and girls can sleep at bedtime.

From England we have Peppa Pig’s family.
Making us laugh and being very very silly.
Peppa has a funny brother named George.
This family has manners and doesn’t gorge.
Daddy Pig is very funny looking and polite.
Being good to Peppa and George at night.

Also from the UK we have Thomas the Train.
The toys are built from wood so they maintain.
The boys include Diesel, Percy and James.
Emily, Clarabel, Rebecca are the girl’s names.
TV and toy playtime for various generations.
Entertaining kids across a series of nations.

Premium Member A Very Silly Poem Based On Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very
fuzzy, was he!

But...

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a ducky
(warm underwater-- how lucky!)

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a gerbil
(naturally, he was non-verbal)

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a kitty
(and by the way, very pretty)

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a puppy
(so much fuzzier than a guppy)

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a packrat
(but don't let him hear you say that!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bird
(and he loved his lemon curd!)
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a kitten
(all who met her were quite smitten!)
Bumpy Bumpy
Hey, I am feeling
Yes feeling little
Grumpy bumpy
Bumpy-bumpy.
I am sounding
Silly very silly
In this heated
Valley sweated.
Timid horns
On my head
Blowing headlights
Grooming helmets.
This is weird
I am a humming bird
Sounding nasty grumpy
bumpy-bumpy-bumpy.
A Matthew By Any Other Name
Hey Diddle Diddle
My Little in his Middle
My Machu; My Pichu
Mommy loves you so much I could eat you
My Handsomest Man
You smell like a crayon
My Mammer; My Jammer
Your Uncle Peanut says you're from Alabammer
My Biggest Boy
You're like my biggest joy
My Littlest Dude
Always sweet and never rude
My Guy, My Pal, My Bestest Buddy
Without you around I just feel super cruddy
My Pika Pika Pikachu
Your Mommy really really misses you
Oh how I dream of the day when you, you're sisters and baby brother come home
But until then, Little One, Mommy has written you this very silly poem
A Haylee By Any Other Name
My Haylee; My Waylee
I still remember when you used to cry all day nearly daily
My Little Boog-Ann
You also smell like a crayon
My Prettiest Girl
You're like the prettiest pearl
My Cutie Patootie
Always kind and never snooty
My Haylee-Anner
Your Aunt Carmen says you're a McBanner
My Little Miss Priss
All with a hand in your face and a look like "Can't touch this!"
My teeny tiny Babydoll
I bet you drive your Grandma up the wall
You are my One Little Sunshiny Lady
Without you in it my world's been much too shady
Oh how I can't wait till the day when you, your brothers and baby sister come home
But until then, Little One, Mommy has written you this very silly poem
A Hazard Warning To Wandering Poets
I was out a-wandering
when it flew into my head,
a very silly poem,
uninvited, be it said.
If I had just ignored it,
it might have gone away,
but for some mysterious reason
I wrote it down instead
Premium Member Worth a Dream
Some people have the knack
To show up uninvited
And crawl beneath our skin
They enrage and irk us till
We want to strangle them
If only there were a way
To avoid their drama and theatrics
Some way to magically bypass
All those who so make our blood boil
A way to brush off and discard them
To keep our path of life
Pristine and clear
With nothing but inspirational
Loving graceful people
Just a very silly dream I have
AP:  Honorable Mention 2020
If I Was
If I was a pilot,
so I would fly in the sky.
If I was a tailor,
so I would not be shy.
That would be my passion,
and I would love it.
But if I was a teacher,
I would cry, cry and cry.
If I was an adult,
I would live happily.
But right now I am a child,
so I am very silly.
What ever I would be,
I would love it,
because that's a job,
and I would adore it.
Premium Member Stuttering and Stammering
Shopping for groceries, this sweet young filly
Bent over which made me act very silly
Accidentally bumped her behind
Which was quite well defined
Started stuttering and stammering involuntarily
