The Ultimate Vamp

She was the ultimate vamp
We saw it the second we saw her
Her haughty attitude drove a motorcycle around the room
Her brake lights were lit before she said “hello”.
She thought she was a classic.
Chic and marvelous.
I ran from her wheels as they rounded corners of the room
Trying not to meet her
Recognizing her kind.

In a Vampish Way

In a vampish way, the moon erupts from the sea 
pirouetting across white cap and trough valley
through an impassioned performance of love set free
	in a vampish way.

A persistent tease, she sets her mind to dally
with Eros’ desirous heart as her victory, 
only to break it with her vigorous sally.

Darkened midnight skies find her in malicious

The Vamp Who Chickened Out

Soft fingered winds caressed my neck
Kissed my breast supine
Brushed the tip of my nose 
Rolled my hair like twine.

Tickled up and down my thigh
Lightly touched my feet
As I lay on my neighbor's hammock
We share back yards on Yawning Street.

And that is when and that is where
A pale night lover came to me
His eyes told tales

Vamp Through Idyllic Darkness

Vamp through idyllic darkness
The silent void willing to cradle you for a while
Only a while
Dance alone
Dance together
Just move in any case
Guidance is subjective
Available only through wicked heat and token redemption
Sit center
Sit still
Let the lack of motion propel you to unearthly heights
Those suggested by derelicts which spot the dormant horizon
In they walk
In they stammer
Leveling granite and

Cunning were her noxious machinations,
Choosing those who never stood a chance.
Masterful projecting of temptations,
Brilliant timing, her alluring glance.

Naive innocence alerted weakness.
Perfect prey, a rug beneath her feet.
Wary of her charm, he played to meekness.
Vamps are blinded by their own conceit.

Love projecting trust her highest rated,
Self assured to win this rueful game,
But his insight unappreciated,
Destined to

Life of a She Vamp

My heart started thumping
My blood soared fast
It was time!
I slowly opened my eyes
And saw, 
Darkness surrounded me
Darkness filled me up
Darkness and my hunger
I lifted off the cover of my coffin
Stretched my limbs
And climbed out
It was time!
Time to enjoy a good hunt
Time to kill a lost soul
Time to be
What I am!
A hungry Vampire!

Once I was out

Caricature of a Vamp

Sarah was always dressed in black,
and wearing that midnight pear bracelet
made me shiver spotting teeth marks on her neck;
was she a vamp ready to attack?


No, Sarah wasn't a beauty
neither sensual or attractive as Melody;
and what made hers stand out from other women, not looking for a kill,
was her macabre attire and her long eyelashes thicker

Like a Vamp

I stand infront of a mirror...
Beholding my reflection in an hour..
As Slowly, I am amused to devour..
I notice changes more and more..

Have I grown old that fast?
Stressors and problems that pass
I sighted it's effects that may last..
I do not like to gush and rush..

For I want to enjoy in as much..
Tic tac! tic tac!, says

I had a date by candlelight,
She was the perfect date that night,
I thought I’d met my own Miss Right,
Until outside – oh, what a fright,
She kissed my neck and took a bite!

Trapped in full inner view proned to isolation

In hope to silence the approach of its beckoning call

Within a vamp approach toward the wall
Vanquished in the tormented vow
The sequential novice humbly looks back at the plough
In great disgust we live to die;

Although its twilight sun had tainted my inner vision,

In the paradox of such inclination we

Hiding a hint of melody
In the free-wheeling ramble
Of the piano’s opening phrases

It’s a pitter pat preview like
Kelly’s singing steps as he
Splashes through a street of rain

It’s a long drawn out unraveling
Of the tune on Ray Charles’ piano
Before he shouts out a bluesy version
Of our patriotic America the Beautiful

           .Her name is Drusilla she's a creature of the night.
                 When she feeds it comes with one bite.
        

Vamp In the Night

Meet me in the courtyard
And onward
Where we may embrace
Where the dusty winds sing 
A lover’s song 
Haunting echoes 
For when twilight comes along 
Weary and faint sounds 
Can be heard 
Amidst the cemetery grounds 
Crawling fog filling the air 
And dare 
There she waits clinging to the gate 
Hoping to met her new found mate
