When she entered a room
To visit with her folks
Rather than ask about well-being
Her immediate labor they invoked
He brought them a gift
One he had labored for so long
Rather than be grateful and amazed
They asked him to go mow the lawn
She acquired accommodation
Through a connection by chance
Rather than rejoicing for independence
They worked on without a second glance
He was awarded a professional prize
Requiring a community feast
Rather than attending with pride
They saw him as feeding the beast
This is the end of obscurity
Where identity has no respect or seat
We choose to know and love self
As we release all the dirt caked on our feet

Look around for someone or something that you Love; Carry out an act of random kindness towards them (during panic attack).
Think about how much you appreciate the person, animal or object. Think about how lucky you are to have them. Go to them and do something kind for them, they don't have to know why.
If it's an object, go and hold it; appreciate it - clean it up, or re arrange it.
If its an animal, give them a big hug, give them a stroke and a maybe a treat...
If its a person, carry out an act of random kindness towards them, and hug them too if you can.
In short - give away love (mid panic attack) and appreciate any who will receive it.
Put all your attention on the person / animal, object you appreciate, and think about how much you appreciate and love them, instead of the temporary feelings of terror - (which will soon pass)...
Think about how lucky you are to be with the one, or object you love; and think about what you could do for them, as an act of selfless kindness - from a place of love.
This is selfless service - or drinking from the holy grail... metaphorically speaking;

A burnished dark brown colored stain
Embellished the natural grain
Bracing the ceiling from the floor
Another piece our oaken door
Was this the use god meant you for
Aside shading hill, mead and moor

Scarcely now we see you were a living thing

Of a work of art
That held our mortal eye
Attuned with earth and sky
Please, a silent moment for my soul in mourning
While they cradle the warblers bedight the morning
So sorry that I could not have more cherished thee
Only now realizing the scope of your tragedy
Focus on the space between breaths.
Repeat this rhythm...
Breathe in for 1-2 seconds,
hold your breath for 1-2 seconds,
breathe out for 1-2 seconds,
hold it out for 1-2 seconds, (repeat)
Focus only on the breathing for the first ten breaths.
As you go with this rhythm, try to move your attention away from the breath itself, and place it into the 1 or 2 second gaps between breaths.
The aim is to have our full attention on (and in) the gaps between breaths - even as we are breathing in and out.
To take it one level higher - is to have your attention in these gaps at all times, during your normal breathing in everyday life, and spot them in other places too.
You can lookout for gaps or spaces between words in writing; or poetry for example... you could hold your attention there, from time to time, to get practice - instead of just focusing on the words.
There are spaces between physical objects and words, either spoken or written. Spaces between your thoughts.
Spaces between breaths...
And spaces in other places ??

taking in the sweetened air
no swallows flew above my head
I watched the warming ground instead,
it seemed that every ant and bee
was working much the same as me
taking in the breath of spring
and doing useful outside things

I must admit I frowned for a while

It’s so easily to do it complicated for ourselves,
before everything falls into place
That neighbour has just banged his door.
Again yet again and yet again.
I, a one of superior quality, wish to beat
his barking bonce against the wall of his rathole.
But there’d be no grey matter
to dribble down the concrete.
An ugly slimy mush would not be excreted
from that crumbly, crinkly, brainless brainpan.
No brainbox there to squirt the grey stuff!
Oh, what do I experience?
A swirly-whirly precognition of a pleasurable
banging of that brain that isn’t there?
Do I not wish to tear it into shreds?
Funny how feral thoughts burst into one’s mind.
Again yet again and yet again, this superior
wants to beat and bounce that barking bonce.

Do not go gentle into that totalitarian night
They lured you in with the promise of a new day
Rage against their deception, and for freedom's light
From a stagnant pool, you jumped into a river of no return
They said the new would rise, the old could burn
Swim against their current, rage against their tide
Face the mistake you made of choosing the wrong side.
Good men, deceived, crying for a mirage bright
Efforts at social justice inverted their deeds to dark
Still time to review how it happened, but no time to win the fight.
Grave men but old who tried to give blind new sight
They blazed like meteors, but fell short and lost the day
From all directions enemies come, too late to defend what's right
And you my father, there in that sad height
You said death was better than seeing what would come
A cursed sunset, a bitter sinking sun.
Don't look outside, draw the shades, as the noose draws tight
We'll shed tears together before the dying of the light.
Erasing your fingertips.
Painting over your love.
The bruises no longer hurt, but the memories do.
Picked me up at 2, dropped me home at 11. Of course, I’m only useful in the evening. At night you don’t want my presence. Sharing a bed for the night would be admitting I was a person.
You spoke in whispers, never saying what I needed to hear.
Scars will fade and I will forget.

Of saving the world
Making a difference
Righting all wrongs
By just telling others what they think

If you desire you can
always walk alone anywhere
since and mostly never forget
to carry the path along with you
so you can return whenever you want !
When they enslave you
you will not know it;
it will feel like a gift,
a great idea, a necessary step.
When they nail you
to an all-encompassing
surveillance system
you will think it a fine new law
to track only the bad guys,
you won't think it could ever be you
they're looking for.
When they come for your guns
you will willingly surrender them
for the sake of peace and safety,
proudly consider it your duty.
When they cancel and mute your voice,
it will be in the just cause of 'disseminating
reckless false misinformation,'
or of being a conspiracy theorist,
and just maybe you're also a racist!!
Then they will indoctrinate your children,
pervert them, turn them against you
for it’s not your future
it’s theirs,
'theirs' meaning those in charge
of your life.
They will control you
from cradle to grave.
You will no longer have to pursue happiness,
it will be rationed for you,
so you can watch moron TV
until you die.
When one freedom after another
is smothered and shut-down
you will be looking the other way
thinking what a fine day
to be this free
in the home of the brave.
It has come to my attention that the moon is capable of growing
green bananas, keeping sheep and goats, but not cows
the cattle emit too much gas.
If we send refugees there and not to Rwanda, they must be
nonsmokers; which surprised me as a packet of Camel was
found by Neil Armstrong, it was planted there by young Putin
to blame the USA.
The Palestinians refuse to settle on the moon and insist
on staying in Palestine despite the Zionist efforts to kill them.
Mind, a day might come when the Zionists have to go
to the moon and build a new Jerusalem in a moon crater.
In the meantime, IDF is tasting their skill in Gaza.
