Useful Idiot - Means You
When they enslave you
you will not know it;
it will feel like a gift,
a great idea, a necessary step.
When they nail you
to an all-encompassing
surveillance system
you will think it a fine new law
to track only the bad guys,
you won't think it could ever be you
they're looking for.
When they come for your guns
you will willingly surrender them
for the sake of peace and safety,
proudly consider it your duty.
When they cancel and mute your voice,
it will be in the just cause of 'disseminating
reckless false misinformation,'
or of being a conspiracy theorist,
and just maybe you're also a racist!!
Then they will indoctrinate your children,
pervert them, turn them against you
for it’s not your future
it’s theirs,
'theirs' meaning those in charge
of your life.
They will control you
from cradle to grave.
You will no longer have to pursue happiness,
it will be rationed for you,
so you can watch moron TV
until you die.
When one freedom after another
is smothered and shut-down
you will be looking the other way
thinking what a fine day
to be this free
in the home of the brave.
