Anointed by God to rule the land
Yet brags where he places his molesting hand
Let us love one another, all children of God
Yet puts proxies before a firing squad
The Lord he praised and the Bible he thumped
Yet adherents of the Word neither phased nor stumped
Turn to God when forgiveness you seek
Yet replies NO, never shall I be unmanly/meek
In the eyes of God, we are all alike
Yet the misbegotten can all take a hike
Obey my command and I’ll offer benevolence
As I give E pluribus unum a whole new relevance
God hath anointed His faithful avatar for you
Yet now go and do as I say, not as I do

The term Magic Moments
Can only be interpreted as those special times in life
That stand out far above the rest
Those unforgettable moments we all experience
That create an indelible impression on our soul
And leave us with a lifetime memory
That we cherish and hold dear until the day we die
They can take on many different forms
But all have the same lasting and cherished effect
A warmth that is unequalled by any others
We all have them, though some men would never admit to it
When reminded of an event that has touched their heart
They also can be reduced to tears
Trying to suppress those emotions they think are unmanly
Before anyone sees their vulnerability
No need to hide it... it's just human emotions kicking in

I'd abandoned friends been deserted by family
a sight dark to the end in a state unmanly
Friends with fake colours I'd left behind me
forgotten by a sister and brother unkindly
It was the darkest hour my life hadn't prepare for
never would I cowar uncaring though uncared for
Anger above all I'd known forcing me to go it alone
in tears I groan the dread of no one but my own
I could of gone back to cannabis or got cans to get pissed
smashed up anything in bliss but I thought I'm not having this
The lonely dawning path before me somehow assured
there's something more I have leading to a reward
In that moment in an unknown exclusion
an alien in an unforeseen reality
instinct found an uncharted conclusion
swallow pride and let the anger out of me
I picked up and object and let my feelings known
it was a pencil wrote a poem found a blissful zone
Something I'd never thought of saw me saved
if not for poetry evil would be laid

A Couplet about Tears
Written: by Miracle Man
6/22/2018
At times my words don’t adequately convey,
So tears oft become the prayer that I pray.
Forthwith, tears, begin descending with ease,
But I know, God’s heart, this doesn’t displease.
Joyous tears shed, are God’s balm for my grief,
Though thought unmanly it affords some relief.
After a time joyous tear flow becomes diminished,
And tears, in God’s eyes, don’t leave us blemished.
“Tears are prayers too.
They travel to God when we can’t speak.”
Psalm 56:8

How hilarious is being born
with a highly sensitive nature;
this is unmanly and very rare
for someone seldom forlorn.
If transformation took place on a public stage,
I would be an enraged marionette
attached to strings that a puppeteer
would pull them up and make me act;
and sadder than a tearful boy without
a toy: I'll kick my performance into fast gear!
Would I be a tiny Pinocchio made of wood and nails?
I hate to lie, skip school and be another rascal;
Charlamane the Lion fits me better by all means:
Bill Baiter is quite funny, his jokes can crack a wall!
How silly is to assume that no great stature
is found in those with a highly sensitive nature;
hiding emotions and feelings and not burst out
into hard laughter with friends is missing out a lot!

A brother's first duty is to his sisters, he'll bite and scratch to keep them safe.
A brother is a sister's first true love, overly protective but with the purest of intentions.
There's a reason the cute guy down the block, doesn't tease you anymore, he has to keep off or lose his head to a spike.
Family comes first, but a sister's niche is to His heart beat.
Short tempers are unmanly, but a brother will rock them heels to make you laugh.
A brother is set to ride and die with you, such loyalty would take years to breed, but it has existed since day one.
Gent's with sisters are the best of lovers, they'll treat you right come what may, you have the right to get on their nerves.
A brother reckons that you need some lone time, but he can't help it but tag along.
A bro' knows the outfits that fit you right, he'll be naive with the colors, but will remind you not to over do your make up.
Walk down the avenue like you on top of the world, the earth revolves around you, you're at the centre of it.
You have a brother to back you up.

By the shores of a lake, a true love was found.
Love's search now was over, a Queen she was crowned.
Life's promise re-awakened, love's rewards now awaited.
Glorious nights to share passions – That shall never be sated.
Since then a world travelled - diamonds too played a part.
Their shared love - almost treason – now found coming apart.
With words still unspoken - and without expectation,
A crown found discarded - reflected her sudden resignation.
So many tomorrows since then, have now passed,
And still there's deep sorrow, they said would not last.
With unmanly tears that continue to flow.
A broken heart's lament - that just will not slow.
If with another - true love since she's found.
Then love's journey surely, just a merry-go-round.
All hope then is lost that this love might rekindle,
And his dreams of a union must surely now dwindle.
The dark of long lonely nights reflect on each day.
Yet his belief she'll come back - will just not go away.
A love with such promise never again to be found,
Cannot be discarded - not even with reason - for it's far too profound.

"long suffering," is one of the fruit
fruit of the Spirit, make no mistake;
it means patience, not just a mood
like a ruler that will never break.
Sometimes we have to exercise patience
when evil abounds aplenty;
if prayers said offers no deliverance
practice patience, it's not unmanly.
Be glad that one of the "fruit" is yours today
though you have to suffer as one doth may;
keep your hopes up that God won't delay
what must you do? just pray and pray.
There is no answer that will solve this matter
all we have is God's own Words;
He may be late, He is the director!
care for us more than He does for birds!
So look to Galatians 5 as your utmost guide
believe me, you'll get the first opportunity;
and when evil's aplenty like bed bug mites
let you soul pour out in prayers thus freely.
Amen!
Galatians 5: 22-23 states:
verse 22: "In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience (long suffering),
kindness, generosity, faithfulness,"
verse 23: "gentleness, self control. Against such
there is no law."
Amen!

Tim Smith is an ordinary sounding name
But the Tim Smith I know is anything but ordinary
For a male to express love the way he does
In everything he writes
Is unique and truly a kind hearted soul
Most males usually have difficulty
Expressing their innermost feelings
At the risk of seeming unmanly
Tim has no such difficulty
He is difinitely in the minority in this day and age
And I truly admire him for this
To me, Tim is a real man
Full of confidence and comfortable in his own skin
Tim Smith... I salute you!!!

We filled our jar.
Our big, glass jar
on that shelf.
But it was never
meant to be big enough.
We made 5-star memories.
Rotten tomatoes were all over
our jar.
1st date:
Simple.
Movie & dinner.
Every other date:
Too cute for words.
We'd drive home
through the night,
burning away the starlight.
I would take back roads that
I, yes, had been down
before ... 10 years ago.
Just to be lost with her.
We stayed out too
late on school nights.
We overused that stupid
.
OXOX meant much
more than just hugs and
kisses.
And she kissed ME first.
I felt so unmanly.
But it was OK.
Now I'm back in this place.
Our glass jar has since fallen.
Pieces
are
everywhere.
I'm slowly brining them back.
I cut myself on each edge.
The pain is no nice, though.
It makes the experience come
to life.
Oh, to have sealed, labeled,
and stored our jar.
In our pantry.
For our children.
Nope, you'll never return
those pieces still stuck
in the bottoms of
your rubber soule.

SAPPHO'S SISTERS Song of Ulysess
is this Sappho to whom i speak
the bride of lesbos with the low forbidden voice
who climbs the rocky mountains’ dangerous peak?
call in the blue daughters of twilight to rejoice
in the bursting spring.
war weary are my men--- far from familiar arms of home.
she , obliging, twirls her tantalizing songs and lyre--
lights my camping soldiers with the fire
of her bold call-- vibrates them with darkness of unknown desires
but she, unknown to me, orchestrates a horrid tune of tragedy unforeseen.
sirens of her sisters , assisting, yearn--
ablaze in fragrant beauty unmanly to resist--
the lyre of Sappho spins the tune that turns the doom of noble heads
the most valiant heroes desert their posts-- slaves to lush open arms that hold them ‘til they burn.

Unmanly; unsightly; unskilled
Unsociable; unsophisticated
Jerk; unruly
And hurt and bruised
Unmanly; unsound
But, unselfish in unseasonable weather
Of warmth, sky clear
Unmistakably; unlikely
Too be unusually calm
In a untouchable manor
And then-unmanly; unruly; jerk.

Real men don't cry
or if they do they do it secretly
for crying is unmanly, only for sissies.
Machos don't show nothing
but their best front, faking everything!
don't ask me, that's just the way it is.
A man with tears-streaked face?
boy, not worth an iota of respect!
might as well wear blouse and skirt.
Picture Arnold Schwartzenegger
all alone in his room, sobbing,
perfect pretty picture, ain't it?
Men crash their fists against the wall
in anger, resentment and frustration
than retreat to a far corner, yelping.
Men know how to handle things
because they are rugged and tough,
to preserve the species, said Darwin.
Real men just don't cry
or if they do they do it secretly
for crying is unmanly, only for sissies.
