Real men don't cry
or if they do they do it secretly
for crying is unmanly, only for sissies.
Machos don't show nothing
but their best front, faking everything!
don't ask me, that's just the way it is.
A man with tears-streaked face?
boy, not worth an iota of respect!
might as well wear blouse and skirt.

all alone in his room, sobbing,
perfect pretty picture, ain't it?
Men crash their fists against the wall
in anger, resentment and frustration
than retreat to a far corner, yelping.
Men know how to handle things
because they are rugged and tough,
to preserve the species, said Darwin.
Real men just don't cry
