The Meek Inherit the Whirlwind

A daylight daze
has been removed to a dark city
in a DC Comic.

Nations have swallowed their tongues,
have become a caped parody
of an undeclared independence.

The good are caught in the search lights,
the bullet heads and bare-faced bad
run the globe, turn the coats,
unify the unwilling sheep into lambs
until liberty itself is the aberration.

The enemy is a suit stuffed
with daemonic dandruff
reserved to snow job the helpless.
There is a new world order now
for the meek, weak and bolder.
Globalist's glob onto the taste of power.

Our super heroes are pot-bellied
and cancelled.
RoboCop is now a peace poet;
he gently rants
in a soundproof basement,
writes sonnets to forget
the already forgotten.

Tears and beers freefall
behind crumbling walls,
we must add too tight tights to the list
of all our ripping sorrows,
shake enfeebled fists
as menacing shadows gather
and we
ever willing to cast
accusing looks upon each other.

By Any Other Name

Sometimes trying hard to win,
it’s more important not to lose

Semantics jumbled, meanings gray,
the angle of your view

The victor truant, a rose a rose,
when called by something else

The winner left still undeclared
—the loser on the shelf

United In Want

More connected
by dollars than faith
the poor attend the
 Universal Church of Poverty

Christian or Jew
Hindu or Muslim
the altar when barren
—leaves God undeclared

Universal Truce

Silent the guns and call your enemy
to say hello, as long as there is life in you
and empathy in mutual suffering by
the massacring virus invading us
like a shrewd salesman of death.
Senseless arms buildup and proxy wars
keep fuel on its fire burning us alive.
Its catastrophe knows no bounds and
we may well be receiving its first wave
like an unending tsunami intent on
submerging all, with no pity for our
piety, or romantic isolationism.
Let peace reign, like clear air, so we
marshal our energy toward the common foe
spreading its eagle wings of death like a
dark and venomous cloud.
Match its irreverence for life with
neighborly love.
Fight its undeclared war
with touch of humanity.
Repel its evil spirit
by planting the sapling soul of peace
in your heart.
Embrace universal truce so
we may all live through this dark carnival.

Premium MemberEveryone's Paying

Parking lots are empty, the streets are bare:
no one forecast this; nothing can compare.
Acting cavalier, some don't even care
that the elderly die, gasping for air:
they still say staying inside is unfair.

The low-wage everyday workers are scared,
finding themselves jobless and unprepared.
And it's soon apparent no country's spared:
the whole world's at war, though it's undeclared.

Facts about the pandemic got disclosed,
and self-quarantine measures were imposed;
while airports and national borders closed.

Social distancing stressed out the nation:
socialization is our foundation.

And, we've got good reason to bellyache.

Corporate greed failed hospital healthcare:
profits increased, and therefore no one cared,
that this pandemic left the world exposed.
A lack of supplies brought desperation:
now, everyone's paying for that mistake.

Undeclared
A valentine’s day ode

For all my bashful valentines
Who love me but can’t share it
Today’s a very special day
On which they can declare it

Was I just forgetful
Did I drink too much gin
I meant to take the door off
So the sacks could be thrown in

But as I sit here patient
And the hours go so fast
The postman must be rushing
Cos the bugger drove on past

I spose he felt quite jealous
But now he’ll be ecstatic
That all of my admirer’s cards
Are hidden in his attic

But thankfully I got one card
It’s stood there on that shelf
No need to trust the postman
I ‘sent’ that one myself

Perpetual Queasy Student Days Recess 1

Charlieku

Life is so
  fleeting
    why do we waste
        chances for
           kindness
              perfectly placed?

Love is no
   use if
      left undeclared.
         By words or
            deeds it
               needs to be shared.

And if our
   hearts seek
       genuine peace,
           pride, hate and envy
               first need release.

Happiness
   comes when
       with thankful hearts,
           we share with
               others
                   gifts God imparts.

Thus if we
   act with
      goodwill and grace
         we’ll leave this
             world a
                far better place.

Bravery So Biblical

BORN into a fire
 as loud as cannon
fire
Declared DEAD before
the message of urgency
Kissing memories
holding insides
between swearing words
  and all this pain
is a penance for
this end; of loving you
of living you.

Dirt, blood, guts, and
bravery so biblical
and angels weep but
devils laugh so this
is the end? Is this
the end?

I wash away I wash away
this evil within my heart.
I kiss the end between
her lips and sing ...

"Undeclared victory is
empty spaces inside your
heart ; tomorrow is strange
and history we cannot remember
is full of war and dying words"
\this is not the end/
Wash away! I declare an
emergency of urgency ~
your love is hallow and
empty like false dreams!
Watch me Watch Me Watch Me
FADE AWAY!

Premium MemberA Gift of Mistakes

My share of mistakes I have made,
Detours I’ve taken, dues I’ve paid.

In dubious company I’ve found friends,
Indecision followed the best-laid plans.
Loneliness has rushed me into love,
Courting heartbreaks and a cold rebuff.

By my errant mind I was ill prepared,
For Fortune’s intentions undeclared.
Ample time has been idled away,
For pleasures that indulged no delay.

The crowd’s folly too quick to chide,
Long have I stayed on the outside.
For triumphs by discipline not groomed,
To small victories by apathy doomed.

Half-hearted dreams were left to rust,
In random luck I’ve placed my trust.
A few hardships I have gamely braved,
Too little done for the freedom craved.

All these I confess to you, my son,
My past a gift to my dearest one.
Not one of the mistakes I’ll regret,
If by my lessons you’re better led.

As you embark on life’s great race,
I hope my steps you won’t retrace.

War

Undeclared evil intentions imposed
The dark side of ma·lev·o·lence exposed
Magnified by sheer brutality of acts composed

Aaaaah, evidence one can clearly see'th
All of humanity is faced with
Tragedy from hor·ren·dous acts commit

Shockingly dreadful acts caused by
Misplaced human beings cry
Who are currently living with an anger eye

Thus, being poured out in ways taking place
Never before seen or experienced 'bout face
On this planet's dust base

O Lord, thus is the day in whence for
Rev·e·la·tion is transcending upon us hardcore
In other words, ''WE ARE AT WAR''

Death

Walking in this house of death and tears
I get this undivided feeling of my fears
Nothing seems to become crystal clear
Our hearts ripped and smeared
Our feelings instantly become flared
My walls quickly crumble becoming scared
At one point feelings were thought of and shared
Soon you’ll have something undeclared
Everyone better be prepared
Later on there will be some snared
Time will come and pass I will be spared
Glances of some sorts evil glares
As if they look like angry hungry bears

Probably Would Have Jumped

Lonesome, sustenance impaired,
Whispers echoed, undeclared,
Overlooked and unprepared,
Caught off guard, I thought you cared.

Regarded gone, inanimate,
Benevolence inadequate,
Self destruct, abandonment,
My ego, my antagonist.

Recreant, my feet retreat,
Unable to admit defeat,
Tenebrous, distant concrete,
Starlight shows abyssal streets.

Breezes flurry overhead,
Strands are stirring 'round my head,
My minds museful heed misread,
Wet streams down cheeks of words unsaid.

Legs fixed in place eternally,
Sunrise peaks beauty fervently,
Night's thoughts now an absurdity,
Abstain death's fall, uncertainty.

Premium MemberColours

The detail lowered the colors:
That weathered flag with stripes and stars,
That had crossed so many borders
In declared and undeclared wars.

Young soldiers debark for glories.
The detail lowered the colors.
Old survivors tell their stories
Of comrades who died in valor.

We refused to doubt their honors,
Though causes have been disputed.
The detail lowered the colors,
While veterans were saluted.

To the widows, kind words were said.
The rifle squads rendered honors,
Then respectfully Taps were played.
The detail lowered the colors.
