The sick and the injured had been his whole life
He’d never found time to ensnare a good wife
He’d slept with a patient and soon was arrested
“It just happened once,” to the court he attested
He’ll run no more x-rays, he’ll set no more bones
He’d made the mistake that no jury condones
No more operations, no drugs to dispense
The judge said, “The public demands recompense.”
“Your claim that it happened just once was complacent,
There is no excuse to lie down with a patient.
A long prison sentence is what you will get
Such a shame… for I hear you were quite a good vet.”

Love for us is always a tryst inside of Eden
intimacy shared in the most exotic of places
Whispers born from of our deepest desires
and adoring looks of contentment on sated faces
Your touch brings me from bud to full bloom
Tenderly, you embrace me beneath moonlit skies
It's there we meld; soul entering soul with each kiss
Each caress has us breathless with moans and sighs
We've made for ourselves a lover's paradise on Earth
The lasting kind, forged and branded with flames
Bound in love and with the rhythmic beats of our hearts
We feast on each other as a poet's sonnet claims
Let not the glow of moonlight, nor of sunlight dimming
pass without words of love spoken in adoring voice
For as dawn and twilight paint beautiful canvases,
we celebrate them together and in each other, rejoice

Harsh clamor gives way to bright ethereal sounds
Night's gothic shadows shift to warm golden bliss
A sense of a pending sweet tryst abounds
As love clings to love in this nocturnal kiss

I rise when gilded starlight still replete the skies
Never have I beckoned hours of abstruse sleeping
I hear elegiac trills as a lone nightingale cries,
evoking memories that conjure tears of weeping
In halcyon moments before the paling of dawn
I contemplate my sentiments in tranquil solitude
Before the world awakens with an unstifled yawn,
the moon, sun, and I rendezvous; tryst in interlude
When velvet darkness fades to soft aurorean glints,
there, upon the horizon is painted a nuanced murk
Colors of daybreak; a blended mural in pastel tints,
created by a grand Artisan's hand, the Master's work

Take the plunge..As I have before, try your friends..
Just to be sure.' Give them truth..Support' some trust
Then wait and see.' Expecting no love, or hate..that fire.'
For it might flare? Their will exposed, in steeped despair?
Who knows the spirit of humans? Deep to core? but one.!
The Great I Am, within deep seas we can't escape him
He's traced each wrinkle, none can berate Him.' And
So I turn to my only Father, who has warned me often
I had allowed for rather..? Well a different speil or option'
Did it depend in part how i'd spun the wheel.? God is
True let all others be liars' add the crackle of thorns to
To call those before Him called..? God watches 'all people'
And
Maybe, wonders?
At much stupidity as yet; he stokes hells fire.'

Can threesomes avoid apoplexy?
To have more than one might be sexy
He was amused
When his asks were confused
By the "girls" in the room called Alexi

In a realm beyond existence's mist,
Where dreams and reality coexist,
Two souls embraced in a playful tryst,
Beyond mortal constraints, they resist.
A fairy dance’s eternal kiss,
Whispering secrets behind their wrist,
In this enchanted afterlife, they assist,
The mundane in a world that does not exist.
They laugh and frolic, no rules to enlist,
Immortality grants them endless twists,
Unfading joy, forever they insist
On amusement, in this fantasy’s midst.
For in this kingdom of everlasting bliss,
Where shadows dance and memories persist,
Their love transgresses time's cold fist,
An eternal tale of two souls’ playful tryst.
*I wrote this poem on January 12, 2024, as part of a ’30 days of poetry’ January challenge. This was day 12 and the prompt was: “Tryst, mist, wrist, exist.”

THE MOON’S SECRET DIARY
I am intrigued by them,
the ones who call me the moon.
Who are they?
the inhabitants of my imaginative world?
or am I a part of theirs?
some eccentric children of the cosmos?
I watch the earth all the time,
she, the calm creature that sustains
the whimsical objects,
they, who are searching for the unsearchable.
they, who have never existed in harmony.
I find them amusing,
the ones who are unaware of their insignificance.
they, who do nothing but run behind the truth,
little do they know that they are an unwoven lie.
I remember what I said, are they
some eccentric children of the cosmos?
I asked the universe to be my valentine,
and we met in a blackhole for a tryst.
Are they your children? I asked
“No, they are my siblings.” she confessed.

Satan, sometimes, takes the form of humans,
He has found pleasure, now, in Putin's actions;
Pride, lie, and lack of love push him forward,
Same Satan will soon prove, that, he's a coward;
Lions should fight against equals or stronger lion,
Putin has brought shame, fighting with Ukraine;
Volodymyr Zelenskyy seems a man of gentleness,
He can, hence, be equaled to thousand Putins;
He sees his country built by his hands collapse,
From his side, he does all he can; no moral lapse;
British Parliament gives him grand standing ovation,
For him, protection of his people is the only obligation;
Putin, or anyone with arrogance, learn lessons sweet,
Fighting for power and might, when they get six feet;
What a life if you can't give your neighbor helping hand,
If you can't help, at least, do not grab their homeland,
To clap, yet, two hands needed, it's traditionally said,
The sins of Ukraine - are they swept under the carpet...?

Titillating touch
Rejuvenating a lie.
Yesterday’s hover.
Sad melancholy kisses
Taint a traitorous lover.

There was no glee in my reticence
While my silence fought the bard
The heavens opened and
I peered into Poe's past
The lilies in this valley
Could not bear my harping
For they too had verses and lyres
Strung stuck on them like wasps
I was that wistful summer
And winter bore not my weight
The cold blue sky day
Was my tryst and my dreams
For surely as the moon, Poe's muse came by night
And left in a huff, like a leaf broken in half
There was no wrong or right
Just my fight broken daily
My melancholy was my morsel by day
And my reverie was no breaker of ice
For who could mend this muse
Who swam in my every heart and bruise
Who broke hearts of jade
Who was a blue lily, a stare, and a snare
It was every jackals day come
Even then, who could mend this muse
Who stared back at the mess
Of many a jackals haunt
Of broken jade and men

Cherry blossoms
So young
