A Tryst in Interlude

I rise when gilded starlight still replete the skies Never have I beckoned hours of abstruse sleeping I hear elegiac trills as a lone nightingale cries, evoking memories that conjure tears of weeping In halcyon moments before the paling of dawn I contemplate my sentiments in tranquil solitude Before the world awakens with an unstifled yawn, the moon, sun, and I rendezvous; tryst in interlude When velvet darkness fades to soft aurorean glints, there, upon the horizon is painted a nuanced murk Colors of daybreak; a blended mural in pastel tints, created by a grand Artisan's hand, the Master's work

The "Master's work," indeed, Lin. There are so many beautiful images "aurorean glints," "colors of daybreak," "blended mural in pastel tints" just to name a few. Your poetic artistry is on full display framed by your faith. Just lovely! Thank you for this beautiful, and very serene, poem. Sending you many blessings!

Dear Lin, what a wonderful reflection on the beauty and tranquility found in moments of solitude before dawn. I loved the introspection, the passage of time, and the artistry of nature delivering insights and emotional clarity. This is one of your deeper moments which I enjoy. - Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

I think it is a gift to rise early, even to hear a nightingale cry. Perhaps the catharsis is meant for you. To contemplate in tranquil solitude, not to rise late, but to take time to think. I don’t like waking up too late. Lovely imagery, Lin! Hugs ~ Kim

Thanks so much, Kim. It's become a habit for me to wake before dawn no matter what time I fall asleep. People exclaim over the beauty of sunsets, but sunrises are every bit as breathtaking.
