Tryst On Fire

You brought me
thunder
I brought you
hail
To drown
within the storm

You coursed
inclement
I watched
you fall
Beclouded
and forlorn

Our vow
asunder
All hope
curtailed
In torrents
of lament

As lightning
 struck
Our tryst 
on fire
To burn 
— in loves regret
