Bows on solemn flower blooms
and scented layers of flared perfume
flow down rows of headstones and tombs.
I've looked at death that way.
			
But now I tend to ask God why
people visit and freshly cry.
We all know when loved ones die

blending with ogres,

chasing stars through
their animal shapes; 
others, a witch

though full, were
dark worlds at night

  Precipitation continuously falls

Nary dry spot upon all the walls

Stuck inside in the dark gloom

Vaults deep in earth's womb

Tenement Tombs

dries up every river of dreams.
When idle eyes can't view their skies,
wadi minds flood over with schemes.

And every hole in the floors
becomes a bottomless well,
where loveless hearts go wishless,
dry up in a dusty old hell.

The mission bells may toll and toll,
but our dungeons, they fill and fill.

Women lie in tombs.
No smiles, no dancing, no talk. 
In a big hurry they rushed out.
Now? Not a sound leaves their mouth!
Still as the harsh winter ground.
As silent as Democratic prosecutors.
Who let evil men, hunt city sidewalks for women.
Just out to have fun.

These evil men will kill again.

fierce as any animal ever seen
