If we stayed young
and didn’t age
would marriage last
to turn the page

Would love endure
and pledges stay
with time becalmed
— and youth sustained

 The scars left by those yesterdays
 Leave her trapped in the past
 With a never ending pain
 As melancholy shadows are cast

 Her heart finds it hard to dance
 To the beat of love
 Memories leave her in confusion
 As she searches for elusive answers from skies above

 She seeks freedom from her illusions

Space-Time Warp

Immersed in a space-time bubble,
memory lost, soul’s in trouble,
for now it is entrapped therein,
knowing not how it may begin
to claw its way back into light,
without help of spherical sight,
with the only tool to access
is to opt for thought flow recess,
since silence restores cognition 
of it’s true self by ignition
of polarities within form,
manifesting a benign storm

Loving you is like chasing a rainbow 
From many years ago 
When your existence began to show 
And my fate began to glow 

I wish to roll back the hands of my time 
And hold your clock still 
So our seasons will rhyme 
So do with what we feel

Where the simplicity of life is so rare to find
And the kindness of heart finds no retreats
No sharing of wealth, greediest of mankind 

Where fear amongst the masses abound
Perpetrated by forces designed to protect us
Where human rights are lost without a sound

and suddenly
i’ve stepped through
an archway

time caught in a loop
wallowing in slow motion

surreal day from night

the world turning
without you without me

and through an expanse of molasses
i muddle through

lost and alone while
i’m not sure at all where you’ve gone

When I was much younger, I'd cross the street,
in little brown trousers, with shod little feet,
to pick up letters in the mailman box,
and set them between grandmother's old clocks.

"It's best to have two windups, you know
in case one is fast and the other, slow."
So each day she would find the mail arrive

I looked at my watch and it was quarter to three.
you were on your back where you wanted to be,
I had to wake you from your dreams, game changer,
there was Tonto but you settled for the Lone Ranger.

Morning night, Morning night 
I'm not sure if I will ever win this fight

I feel as if I have lived this life many times before
"come on it will be fun"
with what friends I have none
air in air out 
and don't ever pout
everyday if like a time warp
a constant loop

I lay in the bath, scented candles gently waft
tantalising and teasing as the hot water brushes
my skin setting it tingling. I stir my legs and
hands creating rippling waves that set me afire.

I see you approaching through the billowy steam
and hold out my arms in welcome. You tease as
slowly you strip naked giving an odd tantalising
wiggle

A child like outlook re capturing
your childhood.

Reminiscing of
a vivid vibrant memory to a happy
carefree place. 

Temporarily caught 
in a time warp, re living the times
you loved the most.

A rip in the 
fabric of time, back to moments
sublime.

I give the facts, you guess the rest:
150 miles to go heading west

Alberta  in January  -  middle of the  night
Bound  for   Calgary,  slid on black ice - fright

Damaged front  wheel  bearing ; 
Back on highway  - noise under the fairing.

Time Warp to 1973

Beam me back: nineteen, seventy-three.
I sleeping alone, too dark to see.
Something suddenly awakened me.
There, at the foot of my bed, stood three.

Side by side glowing figures stayed still.
Who were those spirits that caused my chill? 
Together, silent, against my will
Sightings like this did great fear instill.

Garments of light donned different designs.
One kingly

Life changed in an instant
Explosion, posessions littered, poignant
Distant siren's wail, mother  chants,
My baby, my baby!! life shant
End today, only six month's delay-don't rant.
Posessions, my slant
can be replaced. Life can't!
