Time Warp

I looked at my watch and it was quarter to three. you were on your back where you wanted to be, I had to wake you from your dreams, game changer, there was Tonto but you settled for the Lone Ranger. I looked at my watch and it was quarter to four, you were dressed and heading towards the door, I had to weather a storm, one which you might empower, there was a slam and I was left in my ivory tower. I looked at my watch and it was quarter to five, you came back and like Daley, my spirits took a dive, I had to admit that I didnt love you as often as I should, there was a 'buck - up' needed, otherwise someone else would. Time stood still, your hands went neither forward nor back, you wound me up - reminded me of all the things I lack.
