I Dwell In Halo Clouds

I choose to dwell in frothy clouds…
with a mindset unfixed
Random instincts   spaced out 
In the cumulus mix
An expansive effusion
Far out and beyond my temporal shackles
Free are my thoughts without prompt
Closed minds shallow and 
desolate debacles
dissipate in this airy romp

On wispy clouds I dwell in…
high above I’ve risen
Here no need to reason

A bottomless pit can’t be filled

As if cast into the world, a flood it creates,
Yet still, the people fail to see their fates.

AN EMPTY FIRE PIT

In Florida oak leaves fall in March and as I was cleaning up our backyard
I paused a moment to sit…
to take a break and relax around our old and empty fire pit.

As I sat catching my breath…suddenly in my mind memories started to soar
and that fire pit, empty only a moment ago….was not empty any

Pit Valleys

She is a shy unassuming quiet girl, She Shu
We have known her for a year or two
A dragon named Pit adopted her one day
She keeps him by the pond, a little away

We have tried to ask about Pit of course
She pretends she cannot speak, claims she is hoarse.
I think she wants to keep his friendship
