the abused
did not roll over
and tamely die
the ‘victim’ just blew
a kiss of love
the void
holds no grudges
the oppressor
inevitably suffered
as hate spewed spread poison

Autumn echoes slowly fade
As Winter footsteps are seen
Natures spirit tamely sleeps.
Brisk wind whined as the magic
Of the feathery snow spins,
Home warm walls keep day chill out.
Sun's outstretch scattered bright rays,
Blending orange-red streaks clouds
Poise over blue free heaven.
Kids dressed warm with wet mittens,
Looking proud of their snowman
With carrot nose and twig-arms.

In so many words
Let the beast take form
Let verse arise out of chaos
Let the tides shift
In favour of harmony
Blessed are the meek
Tinged with sweat
They have wrought science from paganism
Blessed are the misbegotten
Holy art thou not?
Implored to act in favour of thy nature
So we children of this new age
What have we in the name of the sun wrought?
To avenge is to forget also what started the problem
I write for thee
Thee, thou and thus tamely all who will know
And those that shan't
For thee all be
But one, differing in only virtue
And science and the new age
All from before as one
Wring the favours from the hands of thy ministers
Sacred, wretched values
Decree what thou art know
In the face of the redeemer
I know little
Enough to be careful
Wanting scarce often to be recognised
Better to be understood
Than misunderstood
Better to hold captive
Than be captive

Regrettably, you're forswearing considerateness.
Because of your deeds, my heart has been disparaged.
However, the faithful has devolved into the dreadful.
There was nothing but words scribbled on a journal.
It's a sincere pity you're sweepingly slighting kindness.
Placing the underachievers on a dazzling betrayal.
Escape the fierce curse of those who benefited.
If you tamely yield to the glare, he will rebel.
Some people keenly appreciate and admire your skill.
Because of your frailty, some individuals devour you.

Succumbing to child-like fantasy glee
To my special boy’s haven I do flee
Meeting his friends, Kindo, Lovey, Deelight
As well as Valiente of great smile’s might.
Kindo shares blessings with gestures so kind
Helping fellow kids in projects designed
Lovey likewise showers healthy pop cheer
Thus, the hyper-actives stay tamely dear.
Around cute Deelight, laughter does abound
Her blissful antics surround freedom sound
Meanwhile, Valiente boosts children’s courage
Propelling them to surmount weakness’ cage.
Midst this pleasure scene, I’m stirred to pray
Beseeching God for gracious hope-faith ray
To build up lives through His compassion deed
Propped by His grace* commencing from love’s seed.
*2John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Now is the winner of our disco tent comp
Maids glorious shimmer by
This sun on my Yorkie
Puffing clouds as Lorde plays in our house
In the deep base of the ocean eyes buried
Our brows found with sweated wreaths;
Our boozed arms
hands up for chocolate moments
Ring the alarms whoop whoop its the sound of the police
Our wayward marches due to delightful measures.
Grim has got his visa
The aged war has smoothed
And how, instead of mourning barbered heeds
Too light the soles of playful sand shoes
He rolls papers nimbly in a unisex chamber
To the languished pleasing of a Dr Dre loop
Have no shape for sport or tricks
Norwegian made dubious furniture not to last
I am that rude
Stamping on your majestic Magnum
To strut before
What you wan't man
I will cut that tail
Fair is my complexion
Cheated by the creature
Breaking is my nature
Deranged, not ends, start and not to stop
Breathing on this world, scared
your mind made up,
So tamely and in fashionably time
Take a step past my dogs that bark
It may be your last

MY CANDLE LIGHT
Blue moon makes night lonely
Sky spreads its hues solely
Gleaming stars shine tamely
On sky hollow.
Trees hide dreams in darkness
In forest I’m sleepless
Try to find my recess
In my shadow.
In dense storm you scamper
From the dark you whisper
Search the light reaper
In life fallow.
At night I cross forest verdant
See your pole star ascent
As mist descends silent
On green meadow.
Sun the nascent day breaker
Blazes sky the dream maker
Lights candles that flicker
Makes me glow.
Draped in grace you’d return
To my candle light pattern
My image you’d discern
As I wallow.

WHEN WOULD YOU ALL TAKE MY SAY
In traditional modern home I’m a daughter
I’m told what I should do, what I should wear
I haven’t grown up yet, I have to tamely obey
When would you all take my say?
To parents I’m a burden they don’t like to carry
Decide how soon and whom I should marry
Disgracing the family I shouldn’t find my way
When would you all take my say?
Me as his equal my husband would never see
Decides what kind of home maker I should be
He can wander around but I shouldn’t stray
When would you all take my say?
In the closing years when I see the end not far
Children move out, think I’m a failed mother
I’d take the pain with me when I fade away
When would you all take my say?

Love at first bite
Lustfully he grins, devotedly she stares,
A scene awfully to familiar in the showbiz of life.
Starring, a veteran actor and naïve lass with a body full of strife.
Yes, her body is rebellious but her apparent eyes leave her soul bare.
Her body could make no false decisions as it moves seductively.
Decisions that attract both timid and masculine spectators,
Lurking in the shadows, tamely veiled like domestic predators,
Bearing intentions set out objectively.
Before she could put her guards up, she`s knocked off her feet,
Obediently invaded by thorn stem roses,
With sweet scented poses.
It was the making of a perfect scene, a flawless hit.
The camera stopped rolling; the lead actor was no more.
There were no goodbyes, only a residue remained when he left.
She searched the vacant chambers of her heart, she`d been a victim of theft.
Suddenly her limbs were rhythm-less, she was engulfed by the floor.
What she savoured was the bitter fruit of spite,
Contracted, from love at first bite.

I am a kite,
My yellow heart trapped in the confines of
Two short poles.
My white ribbons spread around me like
Harsh streetlight rays
(In the mornings I conveniently dim to nothing)
I sway tamely to the rhythm of the breeze
I am at the wrong party.
I am stretched
My string spread out straight
A roman
Dead end road.
And I am wrapped around my father’s fingers
Which are whitening at the tips
He is scared.
Will I plummet
Or will I fly?

I climbed the stairs
To the top deck
Then I found a seat
And sat
Then I heard a voice say “hi”
It was soft and gently spoken
I turned towards the voice
Which emanated from a girl
With the warmest smile
And her red hair ablaze
In the morning sun
And with her head slightly inclined
She said again “hi”
That’s all
Just “hi”
And with that simple word
Came her smiling eyes
Beneath her blazing hair
And a radiant glow
And a feeling came over me
A peaceful warm feeling
As warm as her smile
Then all at once
I felt so at ease
As if I had known her forever
Though I had seen her only once before
And did not think she had seen me
All she said was “hi”
But her tone spoke volumes
I returned her smile
And tamely said “hello”
I wanted to say so much more
She smiled again
This time with the heat
To match her flaming locks
I needed no words
As with that wondrous smile
All my questions were answered
