Premium Member We Take Things For Granted

Every breath you take isn't good to take lightly
Every near death experience teaches that slightly
We're shown love from our friends and families constantly in every way
We take their presence for granted thinking they'll be there everyday
We take our five senses for granted and don't view them as gifts
We live life like its guaranteed and never think about what if's
Our lives are lived but not promised to no one
But we take risk and take chances with life just for fun
We think we're invincible and nothing can happen to us
We have youngsters into drugs exploring for that quick rush
We hold a grudge and stay angry with those who mean the most
Not realizing life is too short and we should be holding them close
We take things for granted because its part of our imperfection
But we lose life as quick as we gain it so you make the connection

Validation

Validation

(A lone voice whispers)

Are there two types of characters in this world
To be seen

Ranging through love
To business, and everything else in-between

Those who do take risks, and those who hate taking chances, and making mistakes

Which one are you?

A.
 A risk-taker

Or

B.
An idolater of stepping on the brakes

For sometimes,
Is it better to have known something
Briefly

That might have had real potential, to be truly special

Or would you rather linger lost
Forever

Taunted

By self-doubts, many whispering, red devils

(C) Copyright John Duffy

Foundation.

Would you rather be haunted by self-doubts, about taking chances?

With introspection?

Like an idolater who worships, stepping on the brakes?

Or are you courageous enough to take chances, and risk all, on something special.

With a high chance of making mistakes?

To never be lost, forever taunted

By self-doubts, many whispering red devils

Who'll appear right out of the minds, many gates?

(If you're reading this far, you must be a type A.

You have my Validation of being a risk-taker.
Hit like if you are. Salute)

Premium Member Locked door

Sometimes, I wish I would have felt a love that was true
That someone would have found me worth an 'I do'
What could of been
Back when
Never knocking on my door
No one made me soar
Just alone and walking the floor
Once gave love a shot
Was too hot
So many feelings
My heart got to reeling
Tried
Cried
Emotions got fried
Found love may not be real
What does it means to feel
Afraid to try
Afraid to cry
Sitting here thinking of days gone by
Exchanging glances
Afraid to take chances
Heading home alone
Cause of what love has shown
How easy it seems love can die
Were hearts really meant to fly
Is it worth a try
No, not for me
All I see
Trust
Is a must
I give no one my heart
They would just break it apart
So alone I stay
It is the only way
Love is pain
I fear it's stain
Days past
Yesterdays never last
Tomorrow arrives so fast
In the blink of an eye
Time did fly
Seems time wasted
Love can't be tasted
Lock down my heart
I stand apart.
Die alone
Says a heart of stone
I wish I wish
I would of had a dish
I should of at least tried
Maybe I'd of cried
As love died
To late
That's fate

Premium Member Fire of Faith

I feel a fire burning deep inside of
me,
It's difficult for others to see.
It's flame urges me to reach for
the sky,
Every flicker gives me the passion
and confidence to take chances and
continue to try.

Dreams and aspirations fuel this fire,
clearing away dark shadows before
they spread,
Shining light on the path I have
chosen to tread.
With every challenge, it grows stronger,
fueling my determination to succeed
and rise.
Through endless struggles and
challenges I endured, as this fire in
my spirit never dies.

The fire in me persists, for it whispers
courage when doubts arise.
It gives me comfort whenever it
hears me cry,
It increases my strength as it burns
away my fears,
While silently promising there will be
no more tears.

While mountains may crumble
And I might fall or tumble
I will let this fire be my guide
through the rest of the way,
For my soul knows in this short life,
it won’t ever lead me astray.

The fire in my Faith is strong,
It prevents me from doing wrong.

Premium Member Trust the Bus Driver

Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands on the wheel
And please tell your dispatcher, if ills how you feel
You don't want to take chances, with kids on your bus
Their lives are in your hands, it's you that they trust
To all the young children, you must always be kind
And most days will go pleasant, if you keep that in mind

Premium Member She Dances

She dances she glances
Beyond her shoulder
She peers
Looking back
Her beautiful smile
She poses in the mirror"

I take chances
Slow dance, as I hold her
Taste her ears
Trace her back
For a while
While nearer

Premium Member I Feel Sorry For the Fearful and the Haters

Those who hole up in concrete brains
Miss much joy in the world
Do they fear others’ opinions might have merit?
Is this why they insist on blinders and ear muffs?

I cannot imagine how much energy goes into hate.
I hate this
I hate that
I hate the other
And how many more muscles does it take to frown?

I believe the most intelligent people are the flexible ones.
Flexible in their thinking, willing to listen to others
Willing to take chances, to risk something, to learn newness.
I feel sorry for the haters and the fearful. Don’t you?

Passing By

Passing by, just passing by,
We are all just passing by
Like the river down the stream and the train down the track
We are all just passing by

Cherish each moment because it is going to go away
It’s a passing phase which makes up our beautiful stay
The Sun and Moon take chances to light up the sky
Try to bask in their loveliness like a butterfly

Passing by, just passing by,
We are all just passing by
Like the ever-flowing breeze and the patter of the rain
We are all just passing by

The days and nights show how much things can change
In a blink of an eye the whole world can suddenly be strange
As a flower starts to bloom it’s slowly going to fade away
We will all complete the circle; we are all just passing by

Passing by, just passing by,
We are all just passing by
Like the river down the stream and the train down the track
We are all just passing by

Endurance and Patience
Written: by Miracle Man
12/18/2021

When trials and disappointments,
are invading our lives.
We search for some level,
of security and rest.
But lasting peace don’t residence,
in our mind’s archives.
While we endure these struggles,
we don’t give God our best.
Through faith and by patience,
much stress we endure.
Often these circumstances,
force us to take chances.
Enduring daily struggles,
to make our final goal sure.
Knowing God has a plan,
for our daily circumstances.
God uses life’s pressure,
to mold us out of love.
So If we remain true,
when the storms of life come.
More endurance and patience,
will descend from above.
And we won’t be weighed and wanting,
as the manner of some.

Premium Member Relationships

When people speak of relationships,
So much springs to mind!
What do you think of when you hear this word?
Is it the connections made by being kind?

Perhaps you think of family -
Parents, siblings and such.
Or maybe you imagine a new romance
Where love will grow so much.

Another idea of course
Is that special bond with pets.
You worry for them as you would family
When they have to visit the vets.

A relationship can also be
The connection between two things.
It can be the awe that beauty inspires
And the joy this often brings.

When history seems to repeat itself,
A congruence of circumstances,
The results are related to the choices
We make when we take chances.

So whatever relationships mean to you,
We see them everywhere.
But I'm sure all will agree that the most significant ones
Are the relationships that involve our care.

Premium Member No Looking Back

You can't move forward
While looking back
If you make a decision
Make it with confidence
And worry not over what ifs
For this life is full of them
Don't be afraid to pursue passions
For it is the flame that keeps us young
And life is such a short ride
It'll be over before you know it
So don't be afraid to take chances
And don't let the people you care about
Slip through your fingertips
Just remember no matter how hard it gets
The stairway to success was built
With your blood and sweat
So no looking back
If you want to move forward

Romance Me

Though there is no hand in hand walk
Though there is no sweet and spicy talk
Though there is no living together
Though there is no common nest to feather
Though there is no public display of affection
Though there is none of that usual couple fun
Still I love the way you ‘desire’ me
Still I love the way you ‘fire’ me
Still I love the way you sin me
Still I love the way you win me
Still I love the way you express your feelings for me
Still I love the way you do all those things for me
And I surely love the way you take chances with me
And above all I love the way you romance me

Christmas was nearing.....and yet..
These arrogant governors must be eating ,shrooms!
"We have locked the churches and schools
Now chimneys must be locked down soon!"
Their greasy hair gleamed under TV lights,
(I hated this dudes,real goons!)

" We cannot take chances with this obese, Santa Clause,.
After all,His Holiess Fauci, the CDC and the revered WHO
Stated clearly,
Santa is most assuredly a carrier of the deadly Covid, too!

Alas, the brainwashed, masked  masses, in a maelstorm of
applause agreed.
"Righto,Santa is unmasked and might even sneeze, oh, geez!
So they got to work, boarded and chimneys up,with speed!

Sir Covid was all they thought of day and night.
It was cool though, it helped them win a fraudulent election.
               ~Where went, an honest selection?~
They were mad gods and emperors now!
Full of wine, power and incurable !insurrection...

Timing

The man at church today preached.
He took the bible, read it and learned.
Then he came and taught something…
He helped me,
to understand,
how I,
fit in.

Today I told someone I was glad.
I told someone close to me,
that God had his hand on my life.
It was not a brag.
I was boasting about the Glory…
A miracle…
I wanted to share,
how I,
fit in.

Sometimes we are quiet.
That is what the preacher man said.
Sometimes we are afraid to say…
and take chances.
We hide and run away.
The burden is not ours to bear.
It his “His”. It has already been carried.
He has been bought, paid for,
and all who believe,
all who accept…
belong.

One man tells another.
That man tells two more…
The forever clock draws close,
your hands, your heart…
they still beat, they still tick.
The hour glass shifts.
