Premium Member Not Afraid

I am not afraid
to live life
one day at a time

to take chances
to live
to think
to learn

I am not afraid
of lessons learned
or
lessons yet to come

Premium Member She Dances

She dances she glances
Beyond her shoulder
She peers
Looking back
Her beautiful smile
She poses in the mirror"

I take chances
Slow dance, as I hold her
Taste her ears
Trace her back
For a while
While nearer

Free Spirit

She rides along the waves
so happy and carefree
Daring to take chances
with an open endless sea
She has no heavy anchor
to always hold her down
She floats atop the waters
with her beacon shining round
Dry land lies before her
but still, she sails on
For she is a free spirit
and has only just begun

Chances

They always wigh me luck with love.
The first time I truly loved, I broke apart,
Afrait to ever since.
But you've changed that.
I can't tell you.
I don't want to take chances.
I don't want a broken heart.
But they say without risk,
There is no happiness.
Should I tell you?
If I will,
What happens then?

Taking Chances

~*~ Why do I reach for the sky When I dont have wings to fly. Sometimes I dont want to feel When nothing seems real. I stand on my own My heart turned to stone. I have to learn to take chances Not run from lifes grand dances. There must be something better for me I set myself free. ~*~

Premium Member Trust the Bus Driver

Keep your eyes on the road, and your hands on the wheel
And please tell your dispatcher, if ills how you feel
You don't want to take chances, with kids on your bus
Their lives are in your hands, it's you that they trust
To all the young children, you must always be kind
And most days will go pleasant, if you keep that in mind

The Chosen Man

Out of the blue, he came without warning
Wearing a honeyed smile as he gazes
Eyes that speak so loud with ember burning
And soft voice that echoes on surfaces
His vow of love makes my heart fast-beating
A life with him, I’ll gladly take chances

With him I find light and joy in a span
My life brightens up with this chosen man

My Winter Blue

Misty days and nights call my bluff.
Yesteryear was blinded rough.
We take chances ever so deep.
I myself listed in such sleep.
No winter, whether season or age.
Travels without periods of rage,
Every day of my life seems blue.
Relative back to birth is my clue.
Breaks in periods, life endures.
Lessoning burdens, my soul cures.
Underestimating coldness, a mistake,
Each new day, uneasy, though must make.

Premium Member Pole Dancer

I just love the way she dances.
The way around the pole she twirls.
With such confidence she prances.
I just love the way she dances!
She is not afraid to take chances.
Around the May pole with other girls.
I just love the way she dances.
The way around the pole she twirls!

Don'T Take Chances

Be on your guard everyday,
some people out there, hate.
Don't take chances, giving rides,
when it's raining or when it's dry.
Always be weary if you are approached,
you never know if they are on dope.
Simple, and clear we are in the times,
the Bible speaks of, so many signs.
Don't go out to shop by yourself,
who will hear if you scream for help?
Times are hard, times are bad,
times have changed, how sad.

Trials

We fight about this
We fight about that
Guess what boy I still got
Your back.
There's nothing I wouldn't do.
I'd go through the fire for you.
I'd take a bullet or two.
Ya they call me crazy in love
It's alright with me,
I see something they don't see
I'll be by your side
Until the end of time
We take chances
While our love advances
It's not a fantasy, it's reality
Will you stay with me?

I Believe

I believe that.
We should chase our dreams.
Follow our hearts were they lead.
Live as we choose and not as we are told.
Write what we feel.
Take risks and take chances.
Every shape and size is beautiful.
Step out of the shadow and say,
This is me this who I am.
Love more and hate less.
Say what's on our minds.
Worry less and enjoy life more.
I believe its better to believe in something
Than believe in nothing all.

Premium Member Daily

Each day is made up of special moments
We count our blessings for each day
In quiet times we spend meditating
On people we meet along life's pathway
Some come into our life and stay
Others will slowly drift away
In life we have no guarantees
No second chances, no time out

So say what you mean
Mean what you say

With no hidden agenda along the way
Forgive freely~~ love like never before
Take chances in life
Live for the moment
Those moments do not come again.

Premium Member My Kids Are Not Like Me

I learned to add, subtract, multiply and divide,
And always followed the teacher's directions.
My kids solve complex problems collaboratively,
  And make unshakeable lifetime connections.

So, I did as I was told
til I was 40 years old,
  'Stayed in my place,'
and wasted the 'best years of my life;'

While my kids try new things;
They take chances and risks.
With a network of friends to support them,
and the confidence to recover from setbacks
         mighty quick!
