Have I become too old to remember,
A day that shook our senses to the core.
Twenty-Three years ago, to be exact when
Terror became fundamental, no longer to ignore.
The pages of history have clearly been written,
Yet the minds of man have nearly forgot.
They don't know why they have to show up at an airport,
3 hours early, practically strip-down, while nobody's caught.
So let this be a simple, yet distant reminder,
That our freedoms require caution, and always aware.
Because history shows that if taken for granted,
They may be undefended...and that can only bring more terror.

It's moderating, yee haw it's warming a bit
Finally it's getting above zero
Just a while ago thought 50 was freezing
Now it's balmy from a few days ago
In comparison temps can feel warm or cold
Depending on what we're accustomed to
50 can feel downright damn balmy or frigid
Really not much us guys can do
Go with the flow, that's what I always say
At 50 in the fall wear a coat
At 50 in spring strip down to your underpants
Coz 50 is balmy, no joke
So there you have it, that's my take on things
Humans are hard to comprehend
Hard to try to figure us modern guys out
It'll drive you around the bend

I blushed my heart out in front of the mirror,
already a feline habit.
I'm ready to turn the world upside down,
in your eyes,
I smile when I am asked to cross
through men's bodies,
falling to the ground out of nowhere,
at some point,
you started shaking,
when asked to strip down to the flesh
to walk through my life.
Anyway, I got you:
you are geometry applied to the bottom of the street,
the one who always extends the same hand,
to beg from other people's poems,
something to eat!

it will be twenty-nine degrees tonight
where are my snowsuits and mittens?
tearing off my outerwear now.
wanting to strip down to my knickers
high of 81 at three this afternoon
football cheers and band playing
screaming girls, handsome silent players
someone claims they saw a snowflake
was it a leaf? or a mere fabrication?
a mini spaceship? unclear but it fits in well
with the harvest moon and the witch cackles
Halloween – demonic or delightful?

I am not ready to face this man
Who broke my heart into squares?
I am not ready to look him full in his lying eyes
And asked him why he made my eyes overflow
I am not ready as yet to asked him if he remembers
the birth of his child, the signal from the moon,
the last Friday night of fish and chips
Wailing and speaking in tongues,
being strip down to my waist as
you held my hand and encouraged me to be strong!!!!!
That trauma was only for a very short period,
My broken hearts will never heal,
because of whom I invited into my soul
However, to reshape my heart again will take courage, but to
Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I’m not sure I could
They say time heals everything
But I’m still waiting… Quote
Just before he said “How are you Are you okay?
To slam the door in the viper face once again is a step to healing.

I am an ocean, in a drop, in an ocean..
Currents within me stir into motion,
more than just an emotion -
the purest of Love.
In the unfettered centre lies the knowledge
that Heaven is not only above,
but embedded deep inside.
Let Love be the guide and it's easy to find.
Divinity is the connection -
our protection:
no separation when we strip down to this thread of light that shines through us all.
It can take only one to fall to drag us down.
But it can take only one to rise to lift us up..
Our best *can* be good enough.
When we are willing to see our common innocence..
When we no longer take offence to each other's insufficience.
Yes, patience, my fellow Creators,
we will arrive.
Forgiveness, my fellow travellers,
we do deserve to survive..
Compassion, my fellow survivors,
we are all alive
inside one another.
We only need look to see..
The ocean, in each drop, in the ocean.

Compromise......
Compromise;
We must realize
Is a coming together,
Of mutual respect
To one another’s plans and schemes.
Contemplate;
Settlements to respect
Another’s point of view,
Even in the difficulties
Of certain opinions expressed.
Concentrate;
Is never allowing,
To override
Or strip down
The dignity of the other…

I did do a little bit of grieving
And my scars are so relieving
I wish I can and do believe
That there is more to see
I love holding on to your sleeve
You’re my ecstasy next to sea
I am not done, doing my believing
Hey, you know what? I’m still breathing
Take a breath, let it go,
I'll strip down and let it show
I'll never shy down, we’ll let it grow,
For this is my thought, you should know,
That I love you tremendously
That I love you oh so immensely
And I can’t help, falling in love drastically
I know that I am in love with you fantastically
I feel empty and scared
I am somewhat unprepared
In a flair and in a blare,
I saw you there and I do care
Relax, don’t be scared,
Always know I'll be there
Without you, I’d be lost
I will always pay the cost
Nothing left to win or lose
Not even just the blues
We don’t get to pick and choose
We are here for each other simultaneously
We are beautiful, so just wait and see

I went up, to the cashier
With my bank card in my hand
She said, "Strip down facing me"
Something I'd misunderstand
"Right now and here?", I asked her
Modesty held me askew
She said, "If you want service,"
"That is what you'll have to do!"
The look on her face told me
She'd not wait a minute more
So I undid my trousers
And they fell down to the floor!
Then she rolled her eyes and said,
Words much to my chagrin
She said, "Strip down facing me,"
"Is how, your card go's in!

Brrrrr my alarm clock wakes me with a start. I open heavy eyelids to see sun streaming through a chink in the curtains. Bounding out of bed I hurriedly dress in my bikini and cover up with my shortest shorts and tightest tee-shirt. With my arthritic knees and varicose veins I am no Betty Grable, but I’m gonna prove once and for all that I can still cut it! Grabbing my surf board I head off to the local beach where my family are gathered for my 100th birthday celebrations. There is an air of anticipation as I strip down to my bikini and dip my toes into the freezing water. White spume crashes up the beach as I paddle out on my surfboard, everyone cheers as I stand and begin cresting huge waves eventually coming to rest on the damp sand. My son wraps me in a fluffy towel and hands me a steaming mug of hot chocolate. He presents me with a telegram from the Queen and a gold envelope containing a voucher for my next challenge of wing walking ...I just cannot stop smiling!

Senses
Senseless
Essence of you,
as your lifeblood pools at your feet
Even
Eventually
Preventing you from breathing
Do I need you?
I need you to bleed
Bleed for all my pain
How I want you
I want you to scream
As I strip down
And lie beside you
Inside this hell
This hell we love
And live

I have spent too much time
Searching out for your approval,
For your go ahead for me to do
Anything within this world
But now I say:
I am mine, I am my own.
I will not strip down naked for you
Bear out the blessings of God to you
For you and your weak pleasures,
For this is mine and mine alone
For now I know:
I am mine, I am my own.
I am no longer tangled
Within your chain of lies,
Your assumptions of who I am,
What I have to be
As now I know:
I am mine, I am my own.
I am not afraid of you any more,
I no longer fear your shadow,
Though you come bearing guns,
I stand with the armor of spirit
Knowing very well that:
I am mine, I am my own.

Strip down from skin, flesh to bone,
From poverty, wealth and fame
then you’ll see the remainder of difference is all very much the same.

He throws himself into my arms upon their arrival.
Insists we go everywhere together, no one else invited.
Will let no one else talk to me; gets angry with them if they try.
We travel to the playground together to swing and slide.
He sees the hose and sprays me with it until I am soaking wet.
We laugh and laugh; come in and strip down.
We play with trucks and push trains around, play hide and seek.
He holds my face and tells me where I can look.
He gives me orders, and I do what he commands.
When they try to take him home, we clutch each other
And kiss and hug so tightly.
He is three, and I am his only grandma.

Home again at last
Summer heat cloying
Sun going down finally
Cool water shimmers
Storm clouds build and a breeze picks up
Open a bottle of wine
Light a candle to keep the bugs away
Strip down to shorts and tank top
Shadows fall as birds give a last call
The glass sweats as ice melts against red wine
Leaving a puddle on the table cloth
Its time to cool down and unwind
Lazy smoke from a lit cigarette rises
The sound of the waterfall is peaceful
A splattering of rain clatters on the awning
The evening storm is coming
Cooling the heated air
Dreaming of what the future holds
Deciding which route to take
Where to go from here
Push out of the comfort zone
Move forward into the storm
