Found herself long in the tooth
Burdened with responsibilities
As the clock kept ticking
Being hospitable began to wane
Regardless of hope keeping in touch
Working harder had become symbolic
For she had a negligible threshold
That supremely played a crucial part
A part in soaking all the fitness up
Until she lost the spiritedness
Did all she accessed for the fruits
Bore all the affliction of misfortune
Spoke many languages to herself
Walked long miles wall-to-wall
But couldn't control her fate
This heightened sensivity was a sword
Double-edged through the feelings
At times sympathy was highly valuable
The blues discerned from the seeds
The high sensitivity to others' emotions
Amid such grief, she's into being mellow
Avoided and crossed numerous arrows
The Omniscient providing for her with pillow
Here comes the relief, there goes the sorrows
Behold, it's time for the land to remain fallow

unsmiling green eyes that narrow
and expose the crannies and
cubbies of her harsh mouth
amplifying sounds
of rage in her
honey tones,

Do we not procure enough happiness in our dull lives?
When someone else is amply satisfied with themselves,
Otherwise, how much joy does one merely receive?
When someone else gains trust and in you can believe.
We should all endeavor to esteem and regard every one of us.
A more peculiar companion or family isn't genuine, thus.
May our excursion be one of happiness and daintiness?
What's withal in all we serve and heed, with spiritedness,
To set up an external assessment for everyone clod.
It is out of the compass of any individual who isn't God.
Regardless, there is pain and gain in the present situation.
Otherwise, there is a service of both joy and tribulation.
His power, weakness, and feelings were frittered away.
It's paradoxical since he was destroying his own joy.

I fancied myself growing up a free spirit
kind of crazy
unpredictable…you know what I mean
but as I’ve grown a little older I find…I like a good routine.
A routine that is predictable and filled with my favorite things…
Like waking up early and taking a walk as the birds begin to sing.
A routine that is relaxed
kind of cozy,
comfortable and stable...
like eating my favorite breakfast
in my favorite spot…next to Deborah at our table.
I have my favorite old TV shows
I love to watch when they repeat
Like Leave it to Beaver
Andy Griffith
and that one with Della Street
I have my favorite foods
I always smile when I greet them
I even have my favorite utensils
and my favorite way to eat them.
Wait! I don’t want you to get the wrong impression
I’m still ready to start something new
a new challenge
a new dare
It’s just now I usually consider my options
from the comfort of my favorite chair…
Where I contemplate how my free-spiritedness
(after all…I’m not a philistine!)
can fit in between my dinner at 6:00…
and my bedtime—9:15

I cherish you betwixt
the spaces of darkness
& white lightning,
creative spiritedness
amidst insecurities,
Chantilly lavender lace 'neath
abrasive gunnysack burlap,
mid late night news & poetry of early
dawning 'pon acquiescently sleepless nights,
'tween whispered wisps of lilting light
and duskily echoed shadows
catching twilit moonbeams whilst
stargazing midst your eyes,
enveloping infinite expanses
which rapturously
invoke none other
I want to see you back again,
When you were at the highest eminence of the world,
Flowing, blowing, glowing charms all around,
Accompanied by cherish moments of the world,
Where the depth is beyond the immense height,
And peace manifested all over the world,
The complete harmony, serenity, stillness and calmness of life,
Reside for few decades ago ere in the world,

Blink of an eye,
Buddha –
Achieved a state of perfect enlightenment
But this success carried,
Years of persistent determination
To look beyond the failures.
Blink of an eye,
Sprinter –
Upshots a sensational Victory
But this winning carried,
Months of sustained spiritedness
To look beyond the loneliness.
Blink of an eye,
Carnivorous plant –
Digests the insects with complete gratification
But this consummation carried,
Days of longanimity and diligence
To look beyond the mundaneness.
Blink of an eye,
Bird of Jove –
Hunts its prey with absolute precision
But this attainment carried,
Hours of penetrating observance
