her mean-spiritedness detonates
unsmiling green eyes that narrow
and expose the crannies and
cubbies of her harsh mouth
amplifying sounds
of rage in her
honey tones,
sickly
sweet

A very well formed nonet Laf, but are you sure my sweet friend Linda wrote it? I guess even the sweetest folk have pet dislikes. vive la différence! It certainly makes the reader sit up and pay attention. Well done Laf

I showed Dilly my first two masterpieces and she said they looked like computer generated pictures :( ..lol (kinda child like I am afraid. One way to look at it.. I cant get worse !!!! Sad people often have stories that made them like that.. I read that you should walk a mile in the other person's shoes...... after that who cares, you have their shoes and you are a mile away ! all the best for 2024, sweetest friend.

LOL Svvie. I was at a party recently and noticed a woman who seemed just so out-of-place. Her whole demeanor exuded jealousy and spitefulness...just awful...a sad person. Thanks for the stop-by. How is the painting coming along? :)

I usually don't like these forced syllabic forms because most come out awkward - BUT - your write here is exceptional in every aspect - read it 4 times and got better with each!
