Premium Member I knew the witch

in me was free
when all four elements
worked in congruity

Indeed

"INDEED"

It is MAGIC indeed
When the dove disappears
The thin black cloth
Banished what was revealed.

It is SORCERY indeed
When you're caught by a spell
You believe every sound
Of the mage's bell.

It is UNFORTUNATE indeed
When you're bewitched by words
Blinded by tales
You treat stone as gold.

It is DANGEROUS indeed
When its veiled by tears
Your soul will be confined
In darkness for years.

It is FUNNY indeed
When you got fooled by a clown
He's cheering you up
While bringing you down

It's magic , sorcery,
Unfortunate, dangerous and funny.
For you have the keenest eyes
Yet you fail to see.

Two of these
One of those
Take with food
One more dose
Swallow it down
Like magical spells
Self-medicate
To make yourself well
Tail of newt
Wing of fly
Take everyday and
you won't cry
Lock it all up
Behind chemical walls
Don't read fine print
Across ceiling crawl
Pharmaceutical cauldron
Sorcery lab
Not just broken body
Your soul's on the slab

Cunning Sam craved to catch caged canary,
feigned sly not to be overtly scary.
He sneaked with dinner in mind,
caught in cage, Sam starved confined.
The bird performed Houdini sorcery.

Words

They are incantations,
holders of truth and lie,
they can be imprecations for bad or sly,
they are hammers that forge our lives,
implements which are sharp as knives,
mastering them may seem nigh,
one may think he is adroit in this art,
or it may be a mere start,
Here no element is a titular part,
some might think of them as banal,
in the world of today they are crucial,
oh so don't you belittle,
lot to learn in this field of imagination,
they are salient to the way of education,
They may be a boon or an imprecation,

Merlin the Magical Cat

His eyes of gold;
peer into my soul
with a milk mustache
he licks his fancy,
torn between two worlds
reality is magical,
says him so
needing to be free,
yet longing for a hand;
to scratch his silky locks
strike while you can
his finicky soul;
dances in the wind
dreaming of playing again
his sorcery is made of stone,
annoyed by your attention
yet never wanting to truly be alone
his meow is a roaring fire;
piercing through the thickest of skulls
biscuits he serves by the claw,
treasuring every chance he gets to fall;
Quit to land on all fours,
he sprints so fast;
you could say he's climbing up doors.

Fluff and Stuff

Elastic bands
bound as a ball
holding fluff
and other stuff -
oh, what a ball-like beast to bounce about.

It holds:
magic,
religion,
sorcery
and even thoughts of Mr Merlin -
oh lovely stuff we play with,
hold as belief,
believe when we hold such stuff.

Yes, wish to believe in belief,
play with belief
until we can jettison it
and toy with belief again,
perhaps tomorrow
with a glass of wine
and several smiles
while giggling and babbling
and playing with that ball of elastic bands
that holds stuff, just as belief does.

Sorcery

Sorcery

When he entered and put on his hat
Lights were twinkling like stars
Audiences sincerely abide his spell
And she whispered;
'Can I ask you the whole Universe'?
He uncoated his longevous sorcery with glitters of love;
'Don't you think now we two make whole Universe'?

Enchanted by your wistfully inked charm
I disrobe and unchain my melancholy heart

At last I am prepared to love and love
Your sourcery has cracked my code for a new start

Where darkness lay light is born my sweet soul
The fires you have been cleansed by are pure

I am here awaiting your willful consumption
Flesh ,blood, bone all of me I promise to endure

Centuries have led to this awakening
Books have foretold of unforeseen force of love

History has foretold of poems and stories propel lovers
To bed to death together and floating ethereal above

Come to me my soul this is our time
To wait too long I fear a great loss

Unchained I await your every hunger
Pestilence and sourcery are worth the cost.

Arrested

I was a child, naive and care free
A soul of great curiosity
Then strong spirits poured into me
Seeped away with my purity
Siphoned my will so slowly
Drowned my heart in self-pity
...Showed me the way to misery

I was a boy without clarity
With no good sense of identity
Then a burning bush spoke to me
Dazed me aromatically
Consumed my prosperity
Changed me into a zombie
...Perverted my reality

I was a young man growing empty
Searching for some reciprocity
Then a bitter boy seduced me
Caught me with such intensity
Drove me to insanity
Stripped me of all dignity
...Made me my own worst enemy

I was a grown man filled with envy
Loathing my imps of atrocity
Then a black horse slammed into me
Tied me in reigns of sorcery
Drew out my dark fantasy
Taught my flesh true agony
...Put the masochist within me

Mom's Sorcery

From Late Night Tears To Early Morning Grumps,

Through All the Bruises Scrapes and bumps,

My mother has been,

Keeping the spirit, no one has seen.

Times can be hard I guess,

But she has no time to express,

The laughter, the memories and those looks in her eyes,

Never to trade, never to compromise.

From where do you get so much energy?

You have a rhythmic symmetry in your memory,

My heart is filled with love for you,

For all you've been for me, all through.

I've Always confessed my wishes to you,

Even if they're completely out of the blue,

'Mother' is a very simple word,

But the meaning is seldom heard.

Thankyou for being there, every hour, every day,

And guiding me always, towards my way.

You cheer me up,

You fill up my cup.

Good or bad, Happy or sad,

You've always uplifted this ambitious lad.

Now , finally for all the times I didn't say,

The love I felt for you each day,

Just Read this so you can always see,

How much you mean to me.

Thankyou Ma for being there, each hour, each day,

And guiding me always , towards my way.

Sorcery of Time

Mortals come & mortals go
Wry life will ever pillage,
The sea and mountains remain
And will remain the village;

Memories lace old pathways
With a painful tear or two,
Lo dried with a mystic touch
Fine sorcery time can do.

What Sort of Sorcery Is This

a phone call
a text
a stroke on my cheek
the way you weep
your sarcastic guile
a cheeky smile
you melt me
unambiguously lay my fear
at your feet
that hat tossed about
your head
your cherub nature
a tarnished sweetness
assails my heart
sorcery, magic, the dark; dark arts
whatever that is
is you
whatever will be
is you

Premium Member Greater Than Sorcery

Disappointment and hurt serving as a huge barrier
subsequent sensitivity of the mind towards affection
makes the heart worrier,
converting a spot once habitable to a no go area;
overworking feelings and emotions without any wage.
The windows of tenderness’ stores, now partially damaged
just to maintain this new borrowed image.

Opening the doors is beyond the spell of any wizard
persistence on trying, attracts its own hazard
yet, falling carelessly from the wall feeling no pain like the lizard.
No matter how one resists, the heart still insists
though broken, but having greater space to accommodate more love
