O heart of hiraeth, bathed in honey-blush kiss,
             hear me heal, meet this sorceress soul,
you miss ...
when the handwritten rose stars weep, and
 I  b l o o m ;
with the ink of iris, weaving webs of doom
breathe... eclipse-glazed moon, my muse, as we bleed...
be the last balm for forlorn fates that heed...

as autumn burns on the bones of the sky,
the veins of lightning veil my lips with lie;
through the dusk-foliage where intuitions dwell deep
and scarlet fairies flicker with faith
                                        ~ to let leaves sleep...

O phoenix sun ~
         you'll let the fire of luck flow;
   as bronze heat of hate wanes
                      in your garnet glow...

because beauty is a bane  b o r n  to  d i e ;
with warm ~I c a r u s~ wings, I seethe to sigh...

so sing with me... the sunset of fallen season,
promise me ~ you'll remember
                 this rhythm of reason

please... close your eyes, surrender to the caramel calmness,
till those maple lifelines rest... lovelorn...
                                 with scarred rustiness;

let this poet's pulse rip my ribs, to feel your ruby embers ~
and I, will always spell
                                        the sixth sense of
             ~ s o u l f u l   s e p t e m b e r ~...

As a tiara of lights blushes on cheeks
with rhythmic sorcery, I breathe in the fire
under the open moonlight,
and velvet  curtains unfold
on one evening’s tapestry…
the heart pulses with a podium
of tantric notes bound
to release some lithe madness ,
as silhouettes appear like rugged capes
grating the first tempo of Latin blues.

Now, go! Cuddle it, taste it , snort it…
whatever the spirit releases
in a mix of bass, sax, and percussion;
this rhapsody of notes devours my breasts
slaying the hours to climb past reality…
each tilted croon floods my being
that I am gone somewhere,
among the clouds of tribal rapture
one with the universal float in a dance,
in tears heating along crowded aisles

while the neon bulbs onstage shuts off.

What Sort of Sorcery Is This

a phone call
a text
a stroke on my cheek
the way you weep
your sarcastic guile
a cheeky smile
you melt me
unambiguously lay my fear
at your feet
that hat tossed about
your head
your cherub nature
a tarnished sweetness
assails my heart
sorcery, magic, the dark; dark arts
whatever that is
is you
whatever will be
is you

Sorcery

Sorcery

When he entered and put on his hat
Lights were twinkling like stars
Audiences sincerely abide his spell
And she whispered;
'Can I ask you the whole Universe'?
He uncoated his longevous sorcery with glitters of love;
'Don't you think now we two make whole Universe'?

Disappointment and hurt serving as a huge barrier
subsequent sensitivity of the mind towards affection
makes the heart worrier,
converting a spot once habitable to a no go area;
overworking feelings and emotions without any wage.
The windows of tenderness’ stores, now partially damaged
just to maintain this new borrowed image.

Opening the doors is beyond the spell of any wizard
persistence on trying, attracts its own hazard
yet, falling carelessly from the wall feeling no pain like the lizard.
No matter how one resists, the heart still insists
though broken, but having greater space to accommodate more love

Arrested

I was a child, naive and care free
A soul of great curiosity
Then strong spirits poured into me
Seeped away with my purity
Siphoned my will so slowly
Drowned my heart in self-pity
...Showed me the way to misery

I was a boy without clarity
With no good sense of identity
Then a burning bush spoke to me
Dazed me aromatically
Consumed my prosperity
Changed me into a zombie
...Perverted my reality

I was a young man growing empty
Searching for some reciprocity
Then a bitter boy seduced me
Caught me with such intensity
Drove me to insanity
Stripped me of all dignity
...Made me my own worst enemy

I was a grown man filled with envy
Loathing my imps of atrocity
Then a black horse slammed into me
Tied me in reigns of sorcery
Drew out my dark fantasy
Taught my flesh true agony
...Put the masochist within me

The Indian Dreamcatcher

We live in a world where magic is alive
We live with incantation and the surreal
We live with the charmed and the fay

In a world of magic where enchantment swells
In a world where monitoring spirits roam unnerved
Unhindered wrecking havoc emptying laymen's joy

The Indian dream catcher a thing of beauty
The dream catcher a thing of magic and marvel
Is reputed for keeping away the evil sorcerers eye
With the dream catcher we can dream fast in peace

The war fought in the shadows requires totems
To ward off evil spirits and evil inclinations
To keep away unwanted soul trapping and journeying
Like a Christian says his prayers in a puritan society
The dreamcatcher lets us dream in a controlled spectrum

In a world where sorcery and incantation still lives
The carefully woven dream catcher kips evil at bay
The dogs bark and the owl screeches in the night
Ghouls and specters are trapped in a phantom zone

The lone panther stalks the darkness of the night
As a goat tied outside the pen bleats in right alarm
Satiated with the offering the other goats are safe
As the dream catcher kips swaying in the winds of time
A Sherman enters into a trance communing with the spirits

Fluff and Stuff

Elastic bands
bound as a ball
holding fluff
and other stuff -
oh, what a ball-like beast to bounce about.

It holds:
magic,
religion,
sorcery
and even thoughts of Mr Merlin -
oh lovely stuff we play with,
hold as belief,
believe when we hold such stuff.

Yes, wish to believe in belief,
play with belief
until we can jettison it
and toy with belief again,
perhaps tomorrow
with a glass of wine
and several smiles
while giggling and babbling
and playing with that ball of elastic bands
that holds stuff, just as belief does.

Enchanted by your wistfully inked charm
I disrobe and unchain my melancholy heart

At last I am prepared to love and love
Your sourcery has cracked my code for a new start

Where darkness lay light is born my sweet soul
The fires you have been cleansed by are pure

I am here awaiting your willful consumption
Flesh ,blood,bone all of me I promise to endure

Centuries have led to this awakening
Books have foretold of unforeseen force of love

History has foretold of poems and stories propel lovers
To bed to death together and floating ethereal above

Come to me my soul this is our time
To wait too long I fear a great loss

Unchained I await your every hunger
Pestilence and sourcery are worth the cost.

Sorcery of Time

Mortals come & mortals go
Wry life will ever pillage,
The sea and mountains remain
And will remain the village;

Memories lace old pathways
With a painful tear or two,
Lo dried with a mystic touch
Fine sorcery time can do.

Two of these
One of those
Take with food
One more dose
Swallow it down
Like magical spells
Self-medicate
To make yourself well
Tail of newt
Wing of fly
Take everyday and
you won't cry
Lock it all up
Behind chemical walls
Don't read fine print
Across ceiling crawl
Pharmaceutical cauldron
Sorcery lab
Not just broken body
Your soul's on the slab

Merlin the Magical Cat

His eyes of gold;
peer into my soul
with a milk mustache
he licks his fancy,
torn between two worlds
reality is magical,
says him so
needing to be free,
yet longing for a hand;
to scratch his silky locks
strike while you can
his finicky soul;
dances in the wind
dreaming of playing again
his sorcery is made of stone,
annoyed by your attention
yet never wanting to truly be alone
his meow is a roaring fire;
piercing through the thickest of skulls
biscuits he serves by the claw,
treasuring every chance he gets to fall;
Quit to land on all fours,
he sprints so fast;
you could say he's climbing up doors.

Sham and Sorcery

The Super-hero swings his sword
Down clang, clang, clang,
It rang, rang, rang,
Went bang, bang, bang
On his foeman’s thick, thick skull.

Such tales, tales, tales,

And males, males, males
Will imagine they’re Conan or Kull.
